If I had to guess the texture's locations aren't set correctly and the game can't find them in game, could also be that there are no old beards that went on those coordinates like that.

Any who make sure you have all the textures set correctly in the dbc files.

You might also have to re-uv them on to the face since you did move the face and make the resolution smaller but I wouldn't know I haven't messed with facial hair yet.

I don't really like having a 3D mesh on top of a texture just looks weird for me.

Okay, I got the human male working perfect but the female has some problems with the upper face and backside of scalp it seems.

The face files are done exactly like human male, and I see no problem with them, the CharSections has everything set to HD.

I noticed a line at the back of the neck though as you can see in the screenshot maybe it's a bad UV?

All the faces are working in WMV though.

I'm using 57 nSubmeshes, how many are you using?

I am also using 57 nSubmeshes, hair styles 1 to 11 all work but hairs 12 to 23 do not for some reason.

Because you removed them.

All the broken geoset ??? in wmv are hairscuts

Look this little screenshoot (sry for french expressions);
(Nain = Dwarf, Mort vivant = Undead)

The first row is the easiest model to convert, the last is the most difficult
By difficulty, i mean "you have to remove X geosets"

As female tauren or gnome male, nothing to do

As undead male, you have to remove 50% of the undead.

Guys on 4.3.4 it loads the old model and it's also textureless (takes texture from last viewed race). What could be causing this? Also I have never done a thing like that untill I saw this tutorial so I might have messed up somewhere along the way even though I think I did every step perfectly.

9Jn28PT.jpg
also in model viewer it looks like this whitch I am guessing is a bad sign

Unfortunately its the end of imgur links cause it wont let me post the whole link

Well I assure you didn't follow all the steps perfectly if you did you wouldn't have that issue.

The texture problem is because you didn't put all the textures into the race folder and or didn't set them in charsections.dbc correctly.

The WMV seems like a missing skin problem and if you have all the 4 skins then it's probably because you didn't remove all the broken geosets.

Is it possible for the WoD model to not load at all if the skins are not correctly edited? And is the geosets the thing we had to edit with 59?

The skin is what makes the model the structure if you will... so if you are missing one your model will look broken.

Also I did say in the video that 59 was only for that one model I was doing it on not for all models....

So try again please and follow the tutorial 100 percent this time around.

Will try again but I feel like there is something I am not understanding properly here and I fear that until I do the result will be the same.

Two things I noticed you didn't follow the tutorial perfectly and didn't notice what I just wrote above.

All you have to do is pay attention to the video I stated what to do step by step and repeated myself many times.

Your problem is that you didn't listen correctly 59 geosets is for Human Male not all races like I stated in the video you have to put the WoD version of the model into WMV like I did in the video open the model control and scroll all the way to the buttom until you find the broken geosets which like I said in the video aren't really broken they just have to many verts for other wow engines to support so you have to remove them pretty much all the 655, 20 or w.e it is I don't remember and then the last working geoset above that add 1 number extra and that's the number you put in the skin file.

You were right about the geosets the model I tried to convert loaded the first broken geoset. But you also said when you remove the geosets you have to type the last working one +1 and from what I saw with the night elfs its the same number 59 like you did with humans. And I am pretty sure I did that one since I dont understand these things I am going to blindly suggest maybe 58 will work here?
Here is a screenshot of the original wod model in model viewer zbu8Xsj.png

Actually I think it loaded all broken geosets. Maybe I accidently missed one of the skin files and I did not edit their geosets this could also be a reason.
For now I will just try redoing it like in the tutorial if everything is the same way then I will try reducing the geoset number.
