57 is the last working one so you have to add 1 to that which is 58.

Does anybody know for which hairstyle that Nightelf_FemaleHair is supposed to be? Cause there is no such thing in CharSections so I have to rename it to the appropriate name

Kinda saddened I can't really do this. Everytime I try to convert my model to m2i, the program crashes. It does however create the new file but it's corrupted as hell, I guess it's windows 8.1 causing this.

Good luck everyone else.

Did you remove the broken geosets before using M2Mod?

Well you can do 1 of two things either change in CharSections.dbc for the female only to look for CharacterNightelfFemaleNightelf_FemaleHair_xx or you could just grab all those hairstyles and rename them to Hair00_XX_HD and this is what I did btw and everything works fine.

So as we know i managed to get the model to work on CATA but the way it worked is a bit of a bitch. As you know in the tutorial he used a custom name for the model he did not use the default model name. But my stubborn Cataclysm refused to load that model no matter what i do the only way it loaded the model is when I put the model with the default name. At first I though everything was good and working nice but as I put more and more textures I noticed that the night elf npcs are still not looking the way my night elf characters are. So I concluded that even though the model is working now the damn npcs are set to use the default texture names not the custom once and when I tried giving the default names for the texture the damn textures collided either one or the other appeared. So I am guessing that the only way to fix this is to make the Night Elf npcs also load the custom textures which I am afraid will be hard. Because if I have to change the texture for every single night elf npc in the game shit might get serious.

Does anybody know which dbc is for NPC mobs or whatever they are called Sections?

Surprisingly the npcs at least load the hair texture but everything else is default texture fails on the new model

Also tried adding the same textures in the MPQ with the default names but without touching the custom textures already set in the data base for the characters to prevent that collision that happened before. Still when I went inside the game damn mobs are still the same no diffrence whatsoever

In WotLK NPCs have their own textures packed of item and characters textures into 1 BLP which is stored in TexturesBakedNPCTextures. These textures are called from CreatureDisplayInfoExtra.dbc (DBC called from CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc). I have no idea what i Cata like in such matters, but it seems that very similiar/the same. You will probably have to create new textures for your NPC displayIDs or create new NPC displayIDs. The second solution should be possible to be achieved by some script made automatic solution, however, I have no idea how long would that script work :D. Sooo many operations inc.

Sigh the only non painful method is either if I find a way to make them load the default model or make the character load his own default model. Do you guys know what else might stop CreatureModelData the character part from loading with a custom name?

Anyone else missing hairstyles on Female Draenei? Ingame and in Blender I only see 7 hairstyles 4 are missing

Also on cataclysm the client was abble to load the face textures with 512x128 for upper and 512x256 for lower still these damn eyebrows on the female draenei look pixelated

Probably caused by Indexed colors mode in PS, that removes all alpha settings from texture and leaves only clored/empty pixels without any smooth shapes. Sadly, I don't know if there is other way to make BLPs used on character model (both body textures and texture items) work. Better pixels than green error. You can try to make texture bigger (for instance 1024x512) and after that turn it into Indexed color mode. That will increase textures size in patch, sure, but it will look a little bit better ingame.

They are missing because you delete them,

The brokens geoset in the wowmodelviewer part are the haircuts.
Too bad, human female is more huge than human male model, so you have to remove more haircuts.

Actually, the broken geosets are the last geoset inside the skin files, since few times, the hd models last geosets in the skin are the haircuts

Thanks god, it's not chest or head :)

You could get those geosets back however it's a longer process that I don't really wish to cover atm with my schedule.
