"Retro-Porting" / Re: Model Scale dont work.
« on: September 02, 2016, 01:13:42 pm »
You want to edit the scale in CreatureModelData.dbc on column 3 put in 1 4 is the biggest it can be also I don't recommend scaling armature even more so in edit mode the model should always be scaled to the armature not the other way around if you want to scale the model then do what I said above also put the dbc core side.

Make sure to delete your cache folder, if for what ever reason editing the scale in that dbc doesn't work which it has no reason not to unless you do it wrong then you can use this to edit the size of the M2 http://modcraft.io/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=789

Hello again here with another showoff video it's been a while.

This is a little hobby of mine this time I added Kenpachi's Captain uniform by replacing a cape model and default robe model, as a bonus in the video I show my updated version of Varian based off the legion cinematic played at the end of the broken shore.

Modelling and Animation / Help with M2i exporting creating doubles.
« on: May 05, 2016, 04:03:32 am »
Hello everyone, I was wondering if I could get some help on an issue I've been having that's been driving me nuts tbh.

my issue is that when I export the M2i the new M2i has doubles I.E

No doubles 11k vert count,

New M2i has doubles now...

This is a very annoying bug that is related to redux because the old versions of m2mod did not have this issue as
Cara Calena AKA Redaxle the creator of M2Mod even stated in the release notes, so I'd like to know what was changed in redux that is causing these doubles to form.

Thank you for the help.

What I meant by
Quote from: "phantomx"
That I'm aware of the dbc refers to .skin geoset groups.

What I meant by that is the id in the .skin is linked to the geoset number I.E. 1501 that is part of a geoset group so that group looks for lets say you put id 2 in the dbc it looks for 1502 and so on.

I haven't tried it out yet but this is what I theorise is how you could increase the geoset count for new geosets.

As I've not been able to find the ids defined elsewhere.

So in my theory all you have to do is number the geoset for the geoset group you want it to be which I believe 1502 falls into the cape geoset group and just keep adding the numbers and it should work.

Hi,

Just a question, im learning a lot of DBC abouts.

But just a question, i cant add this mount without replacing other ones?
Like a new one?

You could copy the current wotlk chopper mount make a new display id for the wod mounts and give it ot the copied versions, so yes you can add them without replacing as long as you do the required work to do so.
