If you're really looking to make something nice and also learn something new, I would recommend you to learn Blender and watch a few tutorials from this forum..
I am learning it currently. Still, I think the model I posted is good enough as a base, to which I'll add some armor, horns, wings and hooves.

This be Sageras was thinking of adding him to wod just for kicks.

IMO on this pic he just looks like some bull-kind monster. He should look like a proper titan, who are in fact intellectual beings.

This is 1.12.1 WoW. I don't know why the teeths don't show. Maybe it was already the case with the LK model (I haven't made the WoD>LK conversion myself, but I'll have to since a lot of geosets are not used in Vanilla so I'll be able to delete those polygons to reach the count).
Also, the weapons and shoulders don't show... I don't know why too. The attachments should be properly converted.

Just have to attach the mouth mesh to the head mesh and it should appear since I also don't believe vanilla used an extra geoset for them.

Thanks. I will try this. Do you think there is a way I could check which geosets are used by the game ? Like in DBC files or something ?
There are many things not showing and I don't know why : Shoulders, Teeths, Spell effects on lights, weapons.. and this is only about Tauren Male. I need a method to systematically find these problems for all races and fix them.
I know about http://www.wowdev.wiki/index.php ... sh_part_ID , but this doesn't mention shoulderpads for example.

No! He should look like a humanoid titanic figure, which is perfect and terrible at the same time, indicating the fact that he is a fallen titan. He should not at all look like an animal.

I haven't really gone to into vanilla modding but you could open the old player models and check what geosets are used and try to keep the same numbers/meshes for the wod models.

He does in fact suppose to look like a goat like creature considering how corrupt he became, also if you followed his lore you would see this.

This also wouldn't be a bad adaptation of him.

Concepts for models are almost the same from Vanilla to WoD (except for animations from LK+ and geometry levels from WoD+ but here we don't care) so my question was more general and not expansion related. What does say where shoulder things go ? An attachment ? An event ? Both ?

---

Yeah demons in WoW tend to get goat-like features and wings when corrupted (inspiration from Christian-way to depict pagan religion as evil and satanic).

If there is a single creature in WoW, who's lore I followed, it is Sargeras. And I know how he is supposed to look.

For example, an official art from Blizz:
[attachment=0:2k84125f]Sargeras1.jpg[/attachment:2k84125f]

In my opinion it does not look like a goat at all.

P.S. Keep in mind that I am not saying my Ra-den style interpretation is perfect. It is not even close to "good", since he misses the fires around his head, horns, wings and hoofs.

Yes shoulders should be under attachments among other things to.

Thanks, I fixed the bug I had. A vicious one.

---------
Note about Attachments : on the Wiki, there is a comment where someone is wondering why the AnimBlock has a constant 1 value. Well, it's the case for all models from Vanilla to TBC but not for recent models, and it was not changed on models during TBC>LK transition Blizzard made.
So, a LK model of the old "Frog" will have the "1s" but the LK model of DruidCat for example will have "0s". This is due to a change in the client. I don't know much more.
I think I will make an account there because I think I can sometimes improve the wiki for some details, especially for things that seem to not make any sense and are remnants of the TBC era. And they are legion. Blizzard was sooo lazy..
---------

I was wondering, is there a list somewhere with Mesh number and what they are ? Like :

42 : Mouth
23 : Tail
45 : Bust
...

Iirc it was for disabling an attachment temporarily, like not having holding stuff temporarily during animations. You may want to confirm that though.

Feel free to add whatever you find out.

http://wowdev.wiki/index.php?tit ... one_Lookup is the official list. I can't guarantee that it is complete.
