I seem to be unable to find these piercings textures for female dwarf anywhere. Does anybody know anything about that?

I've got no idea they are normally on the face textures, can't find them either.

In WoD when you change the faces it changes the actual shape of the face instead of just textures. Is this possible in WOTLK?

I'm not sure what you're talking the faces don't change at all.

The magic of textures just makes it look that way....

There's only 1 face mesh, the undead are the only ones with more then 1 face mesh but that's for their lower jaws.

Well, I believe it was a recent update but if you look at the final models, when you change faces they are either getting more narrow, wider etc..  like I said the actual shape changes. When you look at every model you can see that with the nose and mouth for instance only the texture thats pasted onto it changes.

Here are the final models as you can see the faces are a lot more individually different.

My models are newer that those and like I said textures are pretty amazing what you can do with them.

Yeah, the models look amazing and the files may be newer.. however the models in the video have more detailed faces (for instance skip to 6:35 in the YT video and you'll see how much angrier he looks due to the mouth changing signifigantly with some other things. Same with a lot of other models I can't wipe that grim of the female taurens face.

I don't think this is done through textures. I'm personally very happy with the models, but I just wanted to know if it was possible.

It's all done through the textures.

The only thing that isn't done is that wotlk doesn't for as many textures as WoD does since WoD has more textures for the models then the old ones did.

So you'll have some extra unused textures.

Here is my Facial and Scalp textures edition for 4.3.4

Still no Undead and Draeneis and I still have no idea how to fix broken or missing geosets so its the same old problems with them but at least they have facial and scalp textures now.

Well the shapes aren't done through the textures..... I've played with them way too much to know this now. Doesn't matter if you have the new models/textures, the shape won't change on older versions of WoW. It's something new they put inside WoD client. I'm not really sure what it is though.... I just know that it's not textures alone.

There is most likely one component which controls the cheeckbones, eyebrows and all but actually making it work on something else other than WoD is a slim chance.

with this conversion WOD to WOTLK or CATA, all models have reduced texture quality since we need to stretch them in PS?

No

Weird, your comment on youtube confuses me...?!

WoD uses different resolution for their models I.E the body is 1024 x 512 MoP supports this for the pandas all other expansions do not so that's why you have to make the resolution 512x512

Changing it from 1024 x 512 to 512 x 512 doesn't lower the quality of the textures.

Still not convinced, had to check out both version

Actually there is a loss to texture quality, either by converting them with BLP converter or editing with PS

LEFT - WMV alpha with WOD files

RIGHT - WMV with cata/wotlk conversion

That's due to improper formatting in PS.
