Ah, because that's what I was trying to accomplish; by editing the DBC files to try and get more music to work in a certain zone or area. xD

Thanks for your help, regardless.

47
Wait, so I have to rename any of the MP3s that I want to add for a zone to something similar to one of the ones that would already be in their specific er.. "Zone Music" folder?

Also, what would I have to edit, or "add" in the actual "Zonemusic" DBC file, besides adding the sound ID and changing something.

48
I'm kind of confused with it all, actually. I know how to add/mod music in the soundentries.DBC. The only thing I really wanted to do was add the new "Stormwind" music to the current Stormwind zone (because that's what I ended up using as a test). Images might help a bit. xD

Wait-.. that doesn't really explain it all that well. Anyone have a "better", more DETAILED tutorial? I'm only really confused on the whole zonemusic-areaTABLE part.

50
So I'm kind of messing around with the 3.3.5a files and I ended up creating a "custom" music patch. I now want to know if there's a way to get that custom music to play in a certain area, in a certain zone. I was looking into "Zone Music" and the "Zone Music Intro" DBC files, but I'm not so sure how I should edit them. Any tips?

Well.. new question then. How would I be able to reskin some WMO? Like.. let's say: I want to reskin the Redridge houses and make them all.. "Kul'Tiras" like, or.. let's say I want to retexture the Goldshire Inn, and use the Stratholme House textures on the roof. How would one be able to do that? (I know the whole BLP stuff and the programs to reskin or retexture with, but what I was needing.. was to know how to even reskin some .wmo thingy)

EDIT: ANd how can one even reskin or even re-texture a WMO?

So how would one be able to convert a .wmo to something else then..? Can't seem to find 010 editor anywhere. Or shall I just try and check out the wonderful 'Pymodeledit'? (again, don't mind the stupidity)

EDIT: Such as.. how would I be able to find a specific skin file for a .wmo object (such as an Elwynn Two-Story House, or Inn)? I've been having difficulties with finding the .BLP files or .m2's for them.

I've been wanting to reskin some game objects recently, but I was also wondering.. how would I even be able to obtain some .wmo skin file, or something along the lines. (blp, or something). Kind of new to this stuff. Some sort of.. response would be helpful.

Thanks!

Noggit / Revision 104 help: SHowing a blank UI
« on: July 02, 2011, 09:07:45 pm »
So.. for the past 2 days now, I've been trying to get noggit to work on here. And so far, it's been showing a blank UI. (It works, but the buttons are all in white, and the upper menu bar is all in white).

So.. is there a way I can fix this? (I am on Windows XP Service pack 3, if that'll help, with WoW version 3.3.5a)
