So we'll just totally have to wait for someone to fix Modelviewer for WoD then. Shouldn't take too long if the MMO-Champion guys did it. (And I tried having the client open; made no real difference)

0.7.0.6 xD MMO Champion seem quite far ahead.

Curse you Boubouille! But yet again, he has people that are able to edit those types of programs to allow.. whatever new files can be allowed.

Now we wait for someone to write a new model viewer to allow CASC files, and then we'll all be complete. Or a sandbox.

Can you share that 'offzip' program? (A compiled version if you may)

35
You should shrink it down, add ground clutter, and some trees here and there. But for your first worldedit, it's very nice.

36
Maybe you should post images..?

An explanation on how to use this would be nice.

EDIT: More-so a way to actually open up the application, as I don't see any form of .JAR file or something.

Surprisingly, this goes well in World of Warcraft, bringing all sorts of modern-ness to the WoW universe. I like it. Keep it coming.

Miscellaneous / Re: [QUESTION] Porting over maps from 4.2+
« on: June 16, 2013, 04:14:08 am »
No help? I'm still looking for help to try and implement maps into a 4.0.6a client from 4.3 and what-not. Of course, the obvious problem would be the client not recognizing the edited DBC file and totally rejecting it, saying it's a version mismatch. If anyone knows a way around this.. by all means, please inform me.

Noggit / Re: [QUESTION] The usual with Noggit closing after starting

Nevermind, eventually solved it myself by moving the realmlist.WTF to the main WoW folder that Noggit was located in.

Noggit / [SOLVED] The usual with Noggit closing after starting it

Mostly similar to Jordanator's problem. The noggit program closes right as I open it (after it turns to a nice white screen first)

Realmlist was set to 127.0.0.1 and is in the DataENUS folder
Data folder is clear of any custom patches
That PATH line leads directly to my WoW 3.3.5a folder, which I had renamed to "noggit335a"

Miscellaneous / [QUESTION] Porting over maps from 4.2+
« on: June 05, 2013, 02:37:32 am »
So I've been wanting to port over a couple things from later WoW patches for a long time now, but lack a know-how to actually port over stuff like.. the Firelands from 4.2 (or Darkmoon Isle from 4.3) over to a 4.0.6a or even a 3.3.5a client by custom patch. I was wondering how this could be possible to attempt for someone like me.

I'm more-so looking to port over Firelands/Darkmoon Isle from 4.2/4.3 over to 4.0.6a/3.3.5a on it's own individual map ID, instead of the usual instance-swapping that a few people seem to like doing these days.

44
In the end, I figured out 80% of what I THINK.. I have to do.

All I need to know now is: Does the "AreaTable.dbc" use some form of XYZ coord system? I see no form of er.. "Coords" there. I need to know how the "AreaTable" can er.. "determine" areas, persay. By names, or by coords.

45
I know that much. I'm aware of which DBC files I may need to edit. The only thing is; what do I need to edit in said DBC files?

(And I know how to edit "Soundentries", since I've made a custom music patch previously for some GM server that I play on.)
