Bad news: I dropped the Noggit port.

Good news: Cromon started to develope a new map editor and i'm helping him. :)
He's working on the UI stuff atm and will start to do the rendering part soon.
I just finished the NPC classes and started the MySQL stuff to allow database things like NPC spawning via the editor.
I would love to hear which features you would like to have in the editor.

The editor is written in C#.Net (.NET Framework 4.5.3 Preview atm) and you can find the GIT repository here:  https://gitlab.cromon.ch/Cromon/woweditor

In my opinion, these are good news for the whole WoW modding scene. :)

Some form of light / skybox changing functionality would be very welcome! Great to hear you guys are working on something.

Like in SharpWoW? Shouldn't be a big problem. :)

Wow nice news indeed, but why does it say then in the video CASC only, WoD? NPC spawning sounds nice, editing NPC functions via editor? Features I'd like 4.3.4 support, WMO export import please. ;)
and when will it be out?

Minimap generation (with m2 and wmo) would be awesome.

And something that could also be nice : the ability to setup points like for the areatrigger or flypath within the program :p

Edit : may be you should create a post for this ?

CASC is already working, we're working at MPQ (there's already a basic layout as said in the video).
Yeah, i think i'll integrate a database editor sooner or later, that will integrate NPC editing.

EDIT: I'll create a topic when we have more to show.

Nice to hear that two guys are working on something like that but in my opinion the time will show whether this will be droped just like SharpWoW or not. But best wishes from me! And good luck!
Also WoD compatibility sound nice.

This sounds absolutely amazing? Any chance of Ground Effect calculation from the editor itself? The way it has to be done momentarily is a pain.

That is really awesome looking Kaev! Any chance of import/export to and from other formats of map data at some point?

Kaev, I would create new topic for functions request, here it would be just lost. I have a lot of ideas, but don't want to spam here with them.
