It is very easy to kill a person with a sword with  the blade far from 10 mms sharp. It is a very stupid restriction.
Uh... you don't even attend conventions though. You don't even know what goes on in these things.  By using the word kill, you are totally on a very different topic mate and that clearly explains to us you do not participate in these things, therefore your opinion is stupid and not needed.

Killing or deliberately attacking someone isn't even remotely related to our topic :P

The reason for the Restriction is so that you don't accidentally bump into someone or they bump into you, or from re-enactment(roleplaying) and causing some sort of damage to either them or their property such as their costume or equipment.

Honestly... SMH... KILLING? KILL? WTF BRO!!! LOL. Totally not related at all.

Yeah, Anthony. The possibility of someone using their real steel cosplay katana to actually kill someone on a convention is absurd amirite?

Seriously, Anthony, I'm amazed by your reasoning here.

The discussion was started from the axe picture. I would love to see someone dying from even a sharp axe by accidentally bumping into it. Such things are pretty much harmless until someone  decides to strike you intentionally, but it does not make any sense. This restriction just makes people more limited in their creations.

Uh... Anthony? , sure that was my previous screen name but why bring that up? That's not my legal name btw, only a handful of people actually know it.  I do not have an English Name but to make it easier for people I make a new one every so often, either that or girls that can't remember my name will make me a new one, similar to how the names Ted, Kuro, Anthony, Philip, Krayz(male friends) came about.. Anyway,

I'll explain it in full detail then since there are so many people here that don't actually go to these events or know why certain restrictions are in place.

The possibility for someone to act irrational is there, but that's not why the restrictions are in place.  It's in place mainly for accidental structural damage to either another party(first or third) or to city structures, which in any case, the expenses will fall back to the convention organizers. Naturally organizing these things including paying for speakers, usually producers in a particular field, voice actors and etc, daycare facilities for children, renting rooms out for particular activites such as roleplaying, contests, competitions, Coreo events and so on. All of that takes money.  With less money means either less attractions and less things to do, and or pushing back events due to monetary issues.

At worse, they'll just stop doing events in a particular city altogether. which has happened many times before, just as musical artists won't tour a specific town, the people who organizes these events nationwide won't do it for similar reasons as well.

BELOW: THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE SECURITY DETAIL, in both video and personnel forms.

It's also to help protect the various business venues that go on during these events to help prevent collatoral damage to either displays or products from accidental tearing or cutting.  The more eyes on various things, the easier it will to prove or disprove various accusations.

There was a very low detail here, which pretty much meant no weapons of any type allowed.

Some images from an Anime Convention I had attended recently:

Last thing anyone needs is someone suing another party due to property damage in one form or another.

This is the version 1.0 of my CharSections Editor !
I have programmed this in Java on my Macbook, so the Windows interface is totally not the same as i expected :D

Fully fonctionnal :
- Choose all races, genders (MOP)
- Choose Texture Skin
- Insert lines in the CSV
- Filter the CSV (1-2 seconds to do it)
- Select HD MOD (global type 5 6 9) for Warlords of Draenor
- Increment Unic ID for each row
- Increment Skin ID (when you add a new skin, this take the last id of the race/gender, and add 1 to it)

Not implemented :
- Lower and Upper Visages are not activated, so this program is useless for pre-WOD
- Skin Incrementation is the same for HD Mod and Normal Mod
- This program modify the CSV, not the DBC, so DBCUTIL is required with the program
- Hairs, FacialHairs not implemented

My program is ready to work for Warlords of Draenor but no older versions for the moment.

In the same style of Rangorn's tool, I've done a little tool too. I'm learning, so it's not perfect.

For the state of work, I can't add skin. But it's filter non-HD and HD, filter race, gender, and generaltype.

Hello everyone here's a little project I've been working on lately.

I'm a big fan of the Koenigsegg brand and a big fan of the CCX so I decided to put some time into modeling it and putting it into WoD.

The modeling it self took around 16+ hours the UV Mapping  took around 2-4 hours and about 1 hour to put it into wow since I haven't put a car into wow in a long time I forgot some things but I remember via trial and error lol.

Any who this is a WIP Showoff.

Update--

P.S

Yes in the background that is indeed Afterfall in WoD, I might do a follow up video on that later.

Working on down porting the LightData.dbc into the older LightIntBand and LightFloatBand dbc files.

here's Wandering Isle in Cataclysm 406:

I'll figure out the fog data later, right now I'm just using generic data for the fog.

This is how it was looking before I did the LightData porting:

EDIT:
fixed fog distance and water coloring:
