You aren't really showing much... a box, a pre-downloaded football with the texture... meh, I dunno... I suppose it's a base for some people - but I think that if you were to make a tutorial, you should model something yourself, unwrap the mesh and texture it aswell..

For example, with this tool, you can do something like so:



Those balls are really simple.. unwrapping the texture, texturing with PS, and then adding transparency with 010 editor.

Or something like this;



The latter required a bit more work on the texturing, but as I was saying I think you should do something like this.. and cover all the points when it comes to making a tutorial about it.

I would do a tutorial myself, but I'm quite swamped right now.

Quick question Matija,

Is the juggernaut a doodad? Or is it animated? If it's animated... I'm guessing you went via m2i, if so - what model did you use as a base?

If it's a doodad, I usually use objtom2, but ofcourse.. it only supports one mesh and in WoW -> 1 mesh = 1 texture. Either it was a pain in the ass merging all the ships textures into one, or you used another method?

I finally managed to get around to doing another custom mount after a long break and loss of imagination and creativity. I am quite happy with the result, and I hope you are aswell!

Here it is, tell me what you think:






Ingame:



The model has parts from 4 different models and uses the korkron elite wolf skeleton and body. I retextured and went for a kind of blood-stained hellish look (Still looking for a name).

If you are looking to put vaanel's models into WoW - some "help" isn't going to do you any good whatsoever. You either know what you're doing to be able to get those models in wow, considering there are all .mdx and they are a pain in the ass to deal with.

Vel and phucko know how to do it - but once again.. it's an impossible task to do with "help".

The thing is, I've got a spell visual that links to a spell.. and I want it on the players back... So I used the chest flag, now that model appears "inside" the character, and I'd preferably like it behind him.. like the position wings are in...

Do you know if it's possible to edit the coords while still taking into perspective the attachment point? (chest, head..etc).

I really like the SalamanderHunter (from cataclysm) shoulder, and I've always wanted to have it as a usable shoulderplate - thanks again Garthog!
