Massive thanks for you and Balsh's work. it has really changed the look and im really enjoying it.

I was wondering if you knew of a project that was working on landscape textures for vanilla wow?

Also - kronos doesnt seem to have an issue with the Mods, but i used your BETA on Nostralius original and not long after i received a ban (unexplained too). I was wondering what your thoughts on that are? ie do you think they will allow them?

Im playing on Kronos since beta, no problem at all. You reciceved a ban cause unfortunately Nost was checking mpq files, so they found my beta mpq and you passed for a modified file ban. Not sure that i can do anything about it. I have to contact in the future if they do something again and tell them if they can add my mpq in thero white list. Same applys for Crestfall. Soon ill talk to them and try to whitelist me.

We arent waiting for any new updates to Balsh patch that is in the works right? If its all completed then all we need it updated OP links with the fixes Leviathaan made merged and done! So please update!

(Are black Grimtotem tauren NPC's fixed now btw?)

Cone of cold is now working pretty well with a modification to the SpellVisualKit.dbc

If you pick the version without the druid forms then you dont have a problem as i said before. Since people TEND not read the topics and just click and go this problem will exists. He has made it clear in his main topic which is stand alone and which if for use with mine. If everyone spend like 1m only to read then he would realize what to pick  ;)  !

Balsh, is this the best that vanilla engine allows? The animations and the models are great, but the textures I find horrid (like underwear blending into the body, blury and blocky faces). I know that the game supports maximum of 512 res, but Uthil's textures of creatures seems better to me. Am I doing something wrong?

This is as good as I could get them (simple resize with photoshop) and unless someone knows some better technique to resize them or want to tweak them by hand, it won't get any better. It's the max size the vanilla client allows. That's a pretty big impact on quality.
Also original wod and legion clients uses some kind of mesh deformation on faces I guess and textures fit better on it.
But your sweetfx settings don't help here or maybe it's just QHD it's not as apparent on 1080p

In the end there's a reason I didn't call this patch something like "HD character models" and I don't consider them as better models than the originals. It's just an alternative to bring fresh air into the vanilla game.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even use my patch if I was playing some specific races.
