Hi there

I still dont get how the structure of CreatureModelDisplay model works.

When I am creating a Custom model, I know I need a Creature model Data id number in the second column.

Question is how do I know what goes where in 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 column.

Sometimes I find, one simple BLP file in the creature folder, like Pigman.blp.   And easy as that,  something there are more BLP, with skin color, so I have to put in column, 7 Pigman.blp, and in column 8 pigman_brown.blp. as an example.   

But this is with some models and other just have different configuration of how you arrange the Blp in the creaturemodelDisplay.dbc.

Could someone guide me of how I should arrange this custom models CreatureModelDisplay values? So I dont get White or green models?

In the picture below I get white models on both Pigman and Alpaca models... no matter how I arrange BLP info in them.

Hi there again.

I retroported the Broken Isles, with almost all textures and WMO working, but I am having troubles getting the Ground Clutter Effects working.

I got it to work on Draenor, using this guide from Anthony a while back.
&t=98s , Basically you use a Tool (that I can not longer find), to manually Retroport NODTX files that contain the Ground Effects files.   Put them back on the Patch. And use DBC's from Legion and Wod, with dooad info (GroundEffectDoodad.dbc  and GroundEffectTexture.dbc), wich I also had.   

Since I didnt had the old tool mentioned in the tutorial I used for Draenor, I used this new tool wich is more up to date, and capable of doing Legion and WOD

But again, it didnt work for Legion.   

Could someone help?   If I get everything to work.  I could release it as a complete work here.

I dont know how phassing and quests, work.

I see this FLAG, in Quest_Template = 4194304   QUEST_FLAGS_UPDATE_PHASE_SHIFT

And I tried searching in the the DB for this Quest hat make Phase change both in NPC and Gameobjects, but coudnt find anything that I can replicate.,

I am trying to have a Quest change me to another Phase or the NPC's to my phase, either way.

I have tried using Mod Phase 1,2,3 and others, to the NPC that gives the quest I want.

THis one

But the NPC is still only availble on the command  GM ON.

... So what I want is, when XXXXX quest is complete, YYYY NPC to become visible or in my phase.

Or is there an easier way to do this?

"Retro-Porting" / Can't repair items above wotlk item level

Hi there, where in the DB or DBC, should I fix this? I have retroported all items from Legion/WOD/MOP and Cata, but cant repair items that have item level 333 or above (in other words, non WOTLK items).
If I take the item ingame with Item level above 333 to a blacksmith or any npc that can repair It will be able to repair it. So if its durability goes to zero, I cant wear the item anymore.

THis means, the durability keeps dropping until the item cannot be weared.

Is this a DBC or DB fix?

Hi there, I have retroported Creature Template From a MOP repack to my 3.3.5a server, and everything works, except I get this error when I start the server, so I edited and got all the missing factions from Both Faction.dbc and FactionTemplate.dbc, but still get the error.

Creature (Entry: 62491) has non-existing faction template (1302). This can lead to crashes, aborting.

What do I have to edit in the DB, so I can have custom Factions?

This is the NPC (i know there most be lke a million more, that causes the crash because of the faction.

"Retro-Porting" / Cataclysm Humanoid WOD Look trouble.

Hi there, I know the title seems confusing... but let me explain it a little bit farther.   I have a WOD Npc Patch, that makes all HUMANOID races (Human, Dwarf, Orc, Etc), have the WOD look upgrade.   There was no major issues, here.   They all look like well.

And here is what it looks just for the new npc from 4.3.4 I retroported from a cataclysm 4.3.4, the DBC I got are this CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc and CreatureDisplayinfoExtra.dbc. 

I wanted to get all Humanoid NPC, and their GPS location on map from Cataclysm, ( I got cataclysm MAP;s and VMAPS there.

Both working and not Working models, in CreatureDisplayInfo have the same creaturemodel in column 2, (49)  so I dont think that is the issue.    The las columns of the ones that work with the patch, have the CreatureDisplayExtra-00023_HD.blp (HD) So I guess thats the issue.  They are not part of the patch in the retroported DBC,s look like this CreatureDisplayExtra-22812.blp.  (no HD).   Any possible solution?

Hi there, I am proposing that I could do this (FUSING FINTERNIS HD CHARACTER MODELS WITH WORGEN PANDAREN AND GOBLIN) , and release it, if I could get the DBC files of your work.   I undesrtand that it is your work, so I am willing to pay for it.   Or I could let you have my files and you could fuse it with your work and release it, encrypted?

Hi there

I am looking for someone who can make me custom races, I am want Cata Worgens, and Pandaren from Pandaria, for my custom Trinitycore Server TDB_full_world_335.62_2016_10_17. Maybe we could try something extra if you think you have the time and skills.

Races must be able to:

1- Have most or all haircuts, dances, sounds.
2- No missing gear related problems.
3- Basically work like any of the retail races.

My core has WOD models, creatures and I have some other custom stuff on it, but mostly it should be the same as doing this in fresh compiled core.

We can work in any way you want... uploading the server and patches I have, or you can work remotely, or portion of both.

I have other requests, but lets start with this, to see if we can work together.

Hi there!

I am trying to retroport, mining ores and proffesion to 3.3.5a, and here what I have done so far.

1- get items working:   I used icons and items from Anthony's (Kronixusa), retroported items for the minerals ores.
2- I made custom mineral ore Gameobjects using the saronite ore as base, and everything works (I need 450 mining.. mining pick and I get blizzlike spawnrate for minerals ores.
3- I modified the spell 49258 in spell.dbc, wich is the one used for learning how to smelt 2 saronite ores into one saronite bar.  I changed only the rows that Described what the spell did and the item row for the ORE and BAR with the custom cata item numbers.
4- I putted the file both in the DBC and Patch of my client.
5- In npc_trainer DB, I copied one row that had the saronite smelting spell and replaced the spell Id with the custom one I made

I want to make an NPC phase me to Phase 2, after I accept a quest. After this, I want another NPC to follow a path, when I talk or are near it in that phase.

After I complete the quest I want to return to Phase 2.

Any help with this? IN the part of the "follow me NPC" I tried using a dummy npc 80205 with wpoints (guid is 837778
)... so the NPC follows the guid as soon as I get to phase 2, and sees me... he starts walking.

Basically I am trying to recreate this quest fromo CATA to WOTLK.

Hi there everyone.

I have my custom server in a virtual computer that I am not able to keep on paying, next month.   I want to migrate the server from that computer to mine.    It is a trinitycore compiled  3.3.5 server (January 2017),  with tons of custom stuff (DBC and DB), 

I know I can just copy the BUILD and TRINITY files, but how do I get all the DB changes...?   IS there a way to export all the DB without going one file at a time (like exporting creature_template ... into a big file, and then importing in the new server.   

What is your suggestion so I can "clone" my server easily with characters, and changes?

Is there a way to make a cutscene play (like the classic one fromo wotlk, where the lich king fights Bolvar, and the Horde, and Putricide, comes along, etc).  After I finish a quest?

If so, is it possible to put a custom AVi, or other format on it?

Hi, I am in the process of retroporting all the quests in Cata, to WOTLK.  I retroported easily all the cata quests,creatures, POI, and all the easy quests likekill 6 pigs, or get x item to Y npc, are alredy done.

So I have some questions regarding, more complex quests.  I hope this helps other people doing customs quests, of course also.

1- How do I make a quest change phases and then return me to the main phase after it is complete?
2- How do I make an NPC follow me when a quest is accepted and stops following me after it is done?
3- How do I make a game object, do stuff, like summon an NPC?
Amaroth said "You have to use SmartGameObjectAI instead of SmartAI in gameobject_template, and source_type=1 in smart_scripts. Thats all. The rest is just up to correct choice of events and actions."
But, I dont understand the mechanics of an object.  For example smartAI for an NPC can react to being damaged, healed, etc.  But I can relate this to a GO.

4- How do I make a quest play a custom cinematic?  I have seen that some in game cinematics, are stored in patches, so Howdo I activate them?

I have made many smart scripts npcs in the past, so I am not stranger to the systems.   But I have never been able to mae smart scripts on gameobjects work.
I guess they all work with the SmartGameObjectAI, instead of the SmartAI that npcs have.

Any pointers?  for example lets say that. I want gobject= 1867290  to spawn when looted, touched or when I am nearby, this NPC. =39926

I have tried copying gamebojects like elizas tomb that spawn Eliza so you can fight her, with no luck.  Any help would be apreciated.
