Are the "boneless" undead already in balsh's patch? (the link in the OP is broken)

By the way, instead of redoing all the models just to fix how the tabard texture is mapped to the model, couldn't you instead do an inverse transformation to the few tabard textures that need fixing? (some of the textures are atrocious anyway and could use an upgrade, e.g. alliance pvp tabard). I haven't seen the original BLP of the texture and it's not obvious to me how exactly it is transformed but maybe with some experimentation..?

I tried to make the replacement for the new tabarb that the Alliance gaurds wear but for some reason both models old and new dont recognize it, even if made the change via DBC. So seems might be server side not sure. And yes upper tabarb and lower have same mapping. He needs unfortunately to re-edit the models  . . . i can feel him why he aint, been there done that too. ;)

I reworked all the models to get tabards working. Other things I did while I was at it: removed doubled polygons (mainly doubled belt meshes, this fixes transparency on things like ghost form), Undead features reworked + higher-res bone textures + some miscellaneous corrected textures, rogue vertex tamed on Tauren male, some corrected textures for Tauren females, tons of hair UV fixes and un-decimated dwarf beards. The only thing I can't get working is the sheath/unsheath animation on a few models.

You can plop this on top of Balsh's patch and it should all work. I've included a patch that has my old boneless Undead models for anyone that liked them.

It looks pretty cool so far Leeviathan.

I've tested it a little bit, and noticed a few bugs remaining after merging it with my patch-5.mpq

2 dwarves beards bugs and UD females facial features missing textures, and 1 UD male facial feature bug.

EDIT: I'm uploading the fix now; I had grabbed a previous work-in-progress Dwarf .m2 file. Other than that I just had to add in 5 missing textures for Undead which had been added with my boneless patch but weren't present in your base patch. (This is all tested with your non-druid version btw).

Use the download link I posted before, it should be updated.

how do you guys find corresponding dbc entries from NPCs names btw?

And I think leeviathan sent me a fix for this months ago in my MPs lol :( but totaly forgot to merge it and now its gone with the forum transfer

BTW if someone (most likely leeviathan cause it's as much his patch as mine with all the work he's put in) wants to start a new thread and keeps updating this feel free to do so.
I no longer play vanilla these days and my interest in modding and maintaining this is pretty low

I have a copy of creature_template.sql from the mangos website. Another way is to go to a private server website that has a model viewer, e.g. http://db.vanillagaming.org/?npc=6393 and then find "displayId" in the source of the webpage.

I've tried this source page method in the past but here for exemple for Henen I get 'displayId: 5371'

when it's ID is apparently 3525 according to you. what am I doing wrong?
