Here is the latest and unreleased version of MDLVIS. Back in 2008, when Wrath of the Lich King was in beta stage, I contacted Alexei (mdlvis creator) because i wanted to do some model peviews for a blog I had, but Blizzard modified the particle structure and wowmodelviewer was outdated. He kindly updated the program he was working on to open those models and some weeks after that he disappeared and never heard from him again. Anyway, a few weeks later Blizzard updated the file system for a second time, splitting the model files into .m2, .skin and .anim so the program became useless for me (that's the reason i never released it). Some of you have been asking for it, so here it is! Features: -Wotlk alpha and beta support -unspecified bugfixes As you can see, i was able to open the fire revenant model (mdlvis 1.40 just crashes if you try): Doesn't work with the chopper mount, i don't know why, but for the rest of the models it seems to work well. Hello everyone! I'm working on a flying lotus mount. The texture was painted by hand. It was one of the vast number of projects that I left unfinished but decided to continue today (I get bored easily, so i leave almost everything unfinished). (There is not a "releases" forum, so i post it here.) I managed to export the troll female model from wow alpha 0.5.3 (just the geometry, the unanimated model) and ported the male troll animations from 3.3.5a. I had to modify the legs geometry a bit because of the animation bugs caused by the low polygon count. Also, alpha models don't have cloaks (they weren't visible in the alpha, just like trinkets or necklaces today) or belt geosets. I used the male troll ones. Death knight faces and eye glows included. There is a bug with some hair textures, but it's a DBC problem (do it yourself lol). EDIT: Problem Solved!I just installed .Net Framework 3.5 and now it works! -------------------------------------------------- Hello! Well, i have been using Mdx Converter since 1 year ago and it worked well for me. Today, i made a model (in MDX format) with custom animations and i decided to convert it to M2 with that program. Every time i open MDX Converter, i got this window: And then, it closes :/ I though it was a model bug, so i tried with another models and i got the same error. I downloaded the program again and i still have the same problem >.< What the hell happened with the program? it worked before :/

Hello! Well, made a lot of custom doodads for wow 3.3.5. I tried to give them collision with CollisionAdder but it just bugs the model. I tried to add it collision with PyModel but my model crashes in-game. What can i do to add collision to a M2?

Well, i saw this icon some time ago in the WoW Cataclysm files: So i decided to make this model, based in Eggbert (it's an alpha model) V1.0 (June 15):I added a new texture, a tail, a new "egg crack", teeth and a tongue. I also removed the feathers and modified the head shape. So...What do you think?

Hello. First of all, sorry for my English. Well, every time i save a Northrend ADT with noggit, the textures went crazy :S When i open the map i saved, all the textures are mixed and looks very weird!! It only happends with Northrend maps (i.e. Sholazar Basin). Do you know why?

Hello! Sorry for my English, because i speak Spanish. Well, i saw on MmOned that "Mod" is able to extract ADT maps from WoW alpha v5.3.3368 (i.e. Kalidar: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-of- ... lidar.html). All the maps are in the "DataWorldMaps" folder, and they are WDL and a WDT files. The alpha WDT file is like a MPQ (it has a lot of files inside) :S I tried to open an alpha WDT file with MPQEditor and it has 3 files inside, one of them is around 700 mb (iI guess in that file we can find the ADTs). Do you know how can i extract the ADT maps from this weird WDT file? Thank you.
