Actually had to redo the map due to some perspective issues I had with the minimap I used as reference. You shouldn't notice much difference though other than the fact that the left side of the map is smaller:

I'm currently working on a JAVA program for creating files with a WDT file in input.

WHY ?

Mapping on >Cata  is complicating, you need to convert  3.3.5ADT to new Adts (with tex1, obj1 etc..)
This can be done with Mjollna and Philip converter.

You can edit existing continents like kalimdor, but with the WDT flags, you can fucked up the whole continent, or you can keep the flag in the wdt, but your mapping will result in error 132 (unpackalphashadowbit most of time)

So, the solution is to map on a empty map with existiing entry in Map.dbc (development, test, colintest, etc...)
Wod have a lot of empty map, all the garrisons building have theiir own map with only 1 building, i use theses map for my mapping.

The inconveniance of using empty map (test) or useless map for private server (garrisons building maps), they need ADTS + some files.

- WDT (easy to create with tailis)

- WDL
- TEX (facultative)
- _ogg.WDT
- _lgt.WDT

So, i 'm writting a program for generate theses 4 needed files with the WDT in input.

HOW IT WORKS ?

It's a java prompt command, just enter the name of program and name of the .wdt file, this will generate the files with minimal structure (Just write main chunks and with a lot of 00 values)

How the program deals with errors :

How the programs run normally :

If everything is good....

TL:DR : This program generate files needed for Wod if your mapping is on a empty map.

Big thanks to the guys on PXR/WoWDev wiki for writing the structure on new files and not only 335fag content.
I don't think i will release it, because this community is based on 335fag,
If you really want it, send me a mp :)

And Of course : sorry for my bad english and the many mistakes.

I see the boards are still alive and active =D. Life has been super busy for the last 5-6 months (has been awhile) since I last posted here. I haven't been modding wow for quite sometime (been waiting for a new editor) but I have been messing with music.

Actually have something new to share from my previous posts here but this time it isn't an orchestral or film genre. I am trying my hand at dance/club music to get more familiar with the different types of software synths that are out there and what they can do.

http://freemp3hosting.com/4ve

The intro builds till 34 seconds into the song then it just explodes at you =D.

Hope you all enjoy and look forward to any feedback :)?
