Texturing and 2D Art / [QUESTION] Tree isn't Transparent

Good Evening Modcraft,


Well I have a problem with a "custom" tree, my problem is that the part between the leaves is white. I made in the .png file in Photoshop a transparent background, so that no white colour exist anymore. Than I saved it as .png  and with the function interlaced.
Than I put the .png file on the PNG to BLP2 Converter, after creating the .m2 and the skin. I edit in Pymordeleditor the texture path to the tree texture (100% correct path and also made "Hardcoded Texture").  
After put the files into the Patch, I log into my server and saw that the part between the leaves is still white. I don't anymore what's the Problem for.

Is there maybe a function in Pymodeleditor, to fix the Transparent thing on the .m2?

- Yes I also rebuilded the model and entered the .blp name into the Tree.mdl.
- When I open the model in Warcraft3ModelEditor, is it white too but when I go into (material>select the material> and check "Transparent") it's showing correct.
- Model is created in Mdlvis.

Modelling and Animation / [SOLVED] Can't Equipped custom Axe

Good Evening Modcraft,


Well I tried today to get a custom Axe into my Server, well I created already a display id for my Axe and entered into the item. But when I try to equipped my Axe , he says me :  "This Item cannot be equipped". Modelviewer and mdlvis also show me my Axe. And the Class/SubClass ID's for 2 hand axe should be also right.

Miscellaneous / [QUESTION] custom maps and vmaps

Good Evening modcraft,



Well I tried now many times to get new vmaps which work with my custom maps. So that I can't cast anymore through walls or other objects. But it still not work. Well...


1. I created "maps"
2. After the created maps, I ran "makevmaps_simple.bat" and he also created me "vmaps".

After the convert I added the "maps" and the "vmaps" into my core folder. But I can still cast through Walls on my custom maps. So anyone know how to fix it?


Well I use Trinity.

Well how I already said in the Topic name, I want to make that the player is located on my custom Continent ( on the World map, where you also can see Azeroth) like If I stay on Kalimdor and the Player is showing on the World map, exactly this I also want on my custom continent, which .dbc I have to change, and what I have to do.

I want to ask you if it's possible to copy Bones and Animations from a blizzard model to a custom Model. For example copy the bones and Animations of a Bloodelf model from blizzard to a custom bloodelf model. When it's possible, how I do that exactly, is there any Tool I have to use for it? My first thought was to copy & past the Lines from the bones , from model to model via text editor (.mdl)

Hello guys,


I want ask you how to make a custom riding (ground) mount, with a custom display id of a model, well I took a look into the spell.dbc but I don't find the table where I have to enter the display (morph) id of the custom model or things like that, so where I have to enter the display (morph) Id of my custom model into the spell.dbc? Because I have to make a custom Spell to summon the mount  / to add it into my mount window.

Hey guys,

I Solved the Problem with the texture, but now I have other bugs.. here are they:


1. My Creature have some weird animations,what can be the problem? It's only when I near another Player, or on some Zones in Azeroth.

2. I have a Question, how can I give the Creature Animations? With the mdxtom2 converter? or with Pymodeleditor, now he punch only on the ground(he reply that all time, and do nothing other) I want to make that he make the Death animation when he die. In Mdlvis I can play the Animations like death animation and so on.

3. Why I can't spawn the custom creature ingame? I created a new NPC in creature_template, with the new display id. But I can't spawn the NPC ingame he says me in the worldserver.exe "Creature(Entry:970000) has no model defined in table 'creature_template', can't load"" . I can just Morph into it :S

Hope you guy's can help me, if you need some Pictures from a Patch Structure or anything else, ask in this thread. Thanks!

PyModelEditor / [QUESTION] PymodelEditor don't work

Hello Guys,
I have a Problem with Open the Pymodeleditor, I tried it so often to open it. I installed all 2.6 Versions and 64 bit too (me was said that I need the 2,6 Version so. First I start the startme.py and than it comes a cmd window, but what I have to enter there.

I have a little Question, so my question is what is the structure for custom creatures? I got one creature into my Server but the weird thing is, that the creature is complete green but in the folder from the creature are the .blp files. Don't know why it's show to me green, here are some pictures:

Level Design / [QUESTION] How to make a Raid Graveyard?

Hello guys,

I want to ask you, how i can make a Graveyard, like the Icecrown Raid Graveyard. I mean when i die in the Raid and press "Release Spirit" that i go to the graveyard in the front of the Raid Enter. I know how to make a normal Graveyard, but i don't know how i connect the raid with the graveyard in the front of the Raid enter. Hope you guys can help me. Thanks!

I have created some time ago a own map (my second one) last time it works all fine and now it doesn't work anymore, I can't remember what i change exactly (can't be much) but now when i port to the map i see nothing. Hard to explain here a ingame screen :

I have a entry in the map.dbc, i put the adt's in the right folder. And the Cords should be right too, as the map works fine i take the same cords, how i do yet.
