So yea... I would really apreciate some help.  In the bright side, if anyone has a clean client of 3.3.5a you can just put the files in the apropiate place, and you can have almost fully working WOD HD skins, in your server, in both NPC and Players, with no errors, login out and also no weird NPC faces.

No DBC editing.

The problem is...   the WOD HD patches work like a charm in a clean, 3.3.5a client.

I have many custom patches, and I have tried one by one to see wich one causes conflilcts with the WOD patch and I found out it was, PATCH - 4 wich contains,  among many other information the custom WORGEN / Goblin and Pandarean files for custom RACES, that makes them show in the creation screen etc.  AMong creatures and other releases from Anthony etc.

Hopefully I can getthe WOD HD skins working with my custom races patch.  That is what I was hoping I could get help with.

I dont get any errors, or anything. It´s as simple as if I use one patch i get the worgens, goblins and Pandarens, ir use the WOD HD patch...  i get only wotlk races with WOD graphics...   I know I have to somehow fuse DBC and PAtches..  could anyone here help me on this?

Here what I did for  a worgen custom NPC... but still failed.

1-tallis
2-photoshoop
3-wow model viewer
4-blp2png converter

we need 3 dbc
creaturedisplayinfo.dbc
creaturedisplayextra.dbc
creaturedisplaydata.dbc

we pick the race
worgen.male (example)  
(setup appareance)
Disable Cloack, helm, weapons, and show hair. (for this example

write all thing on notepad. (copy)
skin color = 4
Face Type = 2
Hair Color = 7
Hair Style = etc.
f feautre 21
F color = 1
Item Displayids
Head - 70759
Shirt - 52960
Legs - 14332
put the rest as none

Character -> Show Hair uncheck
Then
file export
Export Model X3D   to BLP2 file

only one we need is worgen example_0 one export.
saved as 512 x 512 worgen example ok 2 times.

no take worgen exampleto Blop2png tool (drag it)

it makes a worgenexample.blp files

CreatureModelData.dbc

open with taliis (in server folder)

now we find the modelid of the worgen male 12298  (charachter/worgen male)

open Creature displayinfo extra.dbc  (this needs a txt he made me to find wich row is what).

we cchose latest Id plus 1. 29527 +1 =29528
then Creaturedisplayinfoextra
Then we fill rowsusing guide he made on a text.

From field 8 until field 18.   are item displayids.
20 is texture name.  ( go to string table) worgenexample.blp inthis case it generates a number copy it (left to the name you wrote)  and copy it in field 20

we use the new creature display extra. 29528

amd gp tp

CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc

Go to last one and make a new one.  (last one +1) 40111+1 40112
field the fields with table.
model id is first 12298
change to new display (259529 new typed display)

just edti to field 4
Find race id in (chrRaces.dbc) worgen is raceid 12

Then change each to a folder and add to patch.

mpq editor

open find patch 7 in this case (dbcfile client). and chose creature diplay infoand extra.

add new folder Textures / BakedNpcTexture   open here our worgennpc.blp file.  (this name has to be the same as in tallis one)


This worked form me for worgen´s butnot for Pandaren NPC

Hi everyone, i was trying to use this patches that where first the work of Anthony (always thankfull for his work), and they are supposed to be 2 patches that can let you play with WOD HD models in the 3.3.5a client. They seem work with minor bug´s. With a clean 3.3.5a client.

I have a modded client with modified version of Anthony´s work (cata and mop maps npc etc. Along with worgen glboin and pandaren races. So I can use the WOD hd characters without editing my current patches.

Here is the link with the WOD patches (ignore the patches I and J) but scroll down to find patches W and EnUs, that have ficed the NPC issue.

With this information

"This first file goes into your "DATA" folder inside your WoW folder:

patch-w.mpq

This second file goes into your "enUS" folder inside your DATA folder:
*Note: if you are using another version of the client sub in your version for the "en" part of the file, I believe other versions might use "gb".

patch-enUS-w.mpq

Most NPCs look legit, havent found any errors yet. On character creation there are a few discrepencies but nothing like the Patch J or Patch I files.

EDIT: Found one error on NPCs so far, Undead Male has a missing jaw model.

I am only leaving Patch 4 - image and the 2 custom WOD patches images, up. because I believe that only PATCH 4 is messing with WOD HD pack patch. What files should I remove or modify from it?

Hi there

I want to populate pandaria, with Pandarens...  but everytime I try to create custom npcs that look like Pandarens... they look like mesh of poligons, or crashes the client.   Any help, on another way of getting Pandaren npc  for wow 3.3.5a?

Thanks a lot for the patch and the sqls.    Are these sqls updated go the latets trinity core version or are they the original from Anthonies Toolbox files?

Easy my friend, I have virtually no time.  I am parent who works in a not so well apid job, study at night.   I only have time in saturday afternoon every two weeks,  I post this messages in my work.   virtually the only place i have some time off.  

So yea, I have no time to do this.  And money is the only thing I can offer since I dont have time.   AGAIN I am not offering money by any way to keep something for myself ut to offer it to the public.  

But yea... I guess thats my situation.

Even if you dont agree with my point, thanks for doing what you do.  :)

the most I have done... (when i had time) regarding editing wow, is adding new races (following of course the guides of Anthony and many people here).   And adding content into 3.3.5a wich i believe its the most stalble core still.

I am planning on having the most complete 3.3.5a core, (with all the races available), all the items and maps (from Anthony  and other people ) and of current expansion and if posible all the new character texture.

Kind of having a core, with all the tools ready for someone, to do something with it.  



I have gather almost all of this and I am planning on replicating all the quests, content of cata and mop, on a 3.3.5a trininty core, trying to balance item stats to wotlk standards raising the level up to 90... so yea that is taking ages to do so.     ( I know spells fromo cata/mop and WOD) wont be the sames as in Wotlk, but they somehow can get closer to it.    

My idea is to try to get also the spells and as much content of current expansions to WOTLK.  

All of this or at least as far as I get to get it... I am planning to release it to the public.  So having the new models from WOD would help me a lot on this.    I can donate for this cause, but as you said before you are more interested on getting this done :)

So yea.  Hopefully ill get there.   (Sorry for my english).

Level Design / FALLING TO THE GROUND ON NEW CATA ZONES (AnthonysToolbox)

I downloaded Anthonys toolbox big patch (4.01 to 5.4 maps etc) and my plan was to reorganize all the npcs with correct patchs etc, since they would obviously spawn and walk in 3.3.5a map locations.   When I tried to populate zones such as ULDUM, I foudn out that if you put and npc or pet (hunter or lock) in zones that didnt exist in 3.3.5a, they will fall through the ground when they walk?

Is there a way to prevent this? I guess this has to do with the npcs using the mmaps of 3.3.5a maps instead of the new maps. For example in uldum the npc walks drops to the botton of the map to sea level l(since this part is sea in 3.3.5a). similar things happens in new holes and mountain created on the new terrain in CATA, where the npc acts as if was still on 3.3.5a maps.

Can anyone guide me on the right track on fixing this?

I am guessing that mmaps from 4.06 would help.
