I thought this was fixed, but I guess it's still beta.

My wall WMO placed between 2 adts causes it to dupe on every save.. :(

Hello Modcraft, this will be a short tutorial on how to fix WMO's in Noggit 1.3, in the event that you are experiencing npc's falling through the floor in your server, or just being stupid in your WMO's.

This is a picture of a skeleton, who'm is under the floor
This chapel was saved in Noggit 1.2, and I extracted the maps and he fell through the floor.


This is because for some reason 1.2 doesn't save WMO's properly according to Steff, so in order to fix this you have to re-save the WMO in Noggit 1.3, then re-extract the maps for your server.

Make sure you understand that, to re-save a WMO you don't just save the terrain around, you have to actually move it in Noggit 1.3, or replace it.. Whatever you wish, as long as it gets edited.



This ^ is the chapel before I moved it in 1.3 after being saved in 1.2, as you can see there is no green bounding box which I think represents it's pathing some how. Maybe someone can tell me what the green box is. But, if it's not there, when you extract the maps, your WMO will be broken.



I middle clicked the WMO, and it has correctly shown the box.

Now when you save, the WMO will work in your server after your re-extract the vmaps and mmaps and place them in your server files.

Hope this tutorial is helpful to those experiencing problems with WMOs in their server. Goodbye!

Noggit / I had an idea for a feature in noggit

I was wondering if there were any plans to add db editing to noggit, so that maybe you can directly add gameobjects to the map like signs (E.G: Sign posts for roads that give directions.)

Enemies fall through the floor of buildings?!

I'm so confused.. I extracted maps/vmaps and they're in the server but they still fall through.. I also noticed that when I type .gps it says

<unknown> and then <Infested Mine> (Infested mine is an area far from where I used the .gps.. so why does it think I'm at the Infested Mine if I'm no where near it?

I noticed a large amount of lag in my world.. and I found out loads of my wmo's have duplicated them selves over 50 times.. WTF? Please.. enlighten me as to how this happens.. and how I prevent it.. I love sdl 1.3 but it's so buggy it makes me angry.

Noggit / [HELP] Disappearing Objects.

As you can see, the object are gone.. I logout, and back in and they're all there.. This happens in some other places too..

What is the cause of this and how do I fix it..  This also happens in noggit the models are all gone, I close noggit and reload it and they're all back!? ??

Serverside Modding / [SOLVED] How to change climate/weather/sky

Hi. My name is Syama, New to modding WoW and learning quickly. (It's very fun :D)

I'm currently trying to make a snowy zone for a small project I'm working on and I have a question.

I managed to change the Light.dbc for the zone.. so the sun doesnt blind the player's eyes on the snow.. but how do I make it more cloudy and how do I setup weather so that it snows?

Currently the sky is sunny.. and I want to make it foggy and cloudy

And I wish to know how to setup weather!
