Creating a spell which persists on a character even when he's dead/logged out seems to be causing crashes on logging in for me. It also occurs whenever I close wow.exe (either forcefully or by clicking "Exit game").
The error is always same: The instruction at "0x77e8cecf" referenced memory at "0x00000014". The memory could not be "read".
Could someone help?

Those banners look familiar, yet they aren't in the game files. I wonder, where did you get them?

Judging by the quality of that texture, it seems the model is trying to use the old textures, instead of the new ones

Hey!
I've been fighting my router for a long time and finally, it seems, have been able to forward all the right ports and host my server using no-ip. At first, I was having problems with people not being able to connect to me at all, but I fixed that by making my LAN IP static, and switching the "WAN connection" setting in port forwarding from "INTERNET_ADSL_IP" to "INTERNET_ADSL_PPP", whatever that means.
Now, people are able to log in with their account names and passwords, but not further than the server selection window, where they get the "Connecting to game server..." box either forever, or closing after a couple of seconds. I presume that means they can connect to my authserver, but not to worldserver, even though canyouseeme.org can see both ports 3724 and 8085.
Could it be because I'm not using bnetserver (and my worldserver says "Opening muxer thread from inproc://bnetmgr to tcp://127.0.0.1:1118" after loading)? If so, could I somehow not use bnetserver and still get it working?
I would appreciate any help!

/queue for delete Is this supposed to be a report? Because if, then please use the report tool instead of replying and thus bumping. If it is a report, please say why it should be deleted. While I don't like this kind of "project" (deploy free software, add ads, make money for nothing), I didn't see a reason to delete it.
1)I forgot about the report tool, sorry 2)I think it should be in the Random category, because it's not a modding project or even anything closely related

Weather does change the lighting for some reason. For example, when it's snowing, it looks like it's day time. You can edit the core like other people here suggest, or, if you want a temporary change, just use the .wchange command.

Look at how Corrupted Ashbringer makes Scarlet Monastery friendly. It's a spell. I'm not sure whether you can make multiple factions friendly through one spell, but if you have enough time, you could create a spell for every faction and then just add those to the item as OnEquip auras.

I love to see any activity in the Cata region, so I will be watching this project with great interest. I would advice making a post about it on mc.net though - not because I prefer that website or generally support the war, but to simply promote the project.

and if you have some .anim tutorials i will be happy to read it Sorry, I'm not that good. Besides, I don't think there are many differences between wotlk and cata in terms of anims, so you can probably use a guide for wotlk.

1) Follow this guide for M2<->M2i convertion. 2) In Cata you can't just name your .mpq archives whatever you want. They have to go like "wow-update-base-15596.MPQ", then "wow-update-base-15597.MPQ", etc. You also have to edit your exe for it to read custom patches. There is a tool that does that, so just google. 3)What xJKz said. Yur patch structure should look like: [patch name (see 2)].mpq |_Creature |__ MotorcycleVehicle |___ [Edited m2, .skin files, textures, etc.]

So the thing would be to make the mount an npc summoned by a spell and to make it give more movement speed? Is it the only way ?(not that i don't like it). I think it is. You could probably change the source code, but I never visit that hell

Hey! Personally, I use Koward's jM2 converter. It works perfectly, except for some models with lots of particles and other heavy visual effects. When converting Legion M2s, before using the converter, remember to remove the bytes before MD20:

Have a look at the followind spell (it was added in Cata though): http://ru.wowhead.com/spell=68221Like schlumpf said, it uses an additional npc which your character mounts, but it's in the form of a spell, and the npc disappears once you dismount, similar to an "old style" mount.
