If you guys are that picky about it I can do a new extraction and upload it even though I haven't seen any changes done to the models since my last extraction.

This is all the 7 races I did for 4.3.4 with facial and scalp textures

Hello there,

Let me have an educated guess (probably because I've been asking myself this too) and say you probably don't have the Draenei models in there?

I'm trying those myself as we speak but I have no clue how to produce a proper SKIN file as I have no clue where to put the tail when I position everything in Photoshop.

Maybe you do?

Kind regards,
DJScias

If you want I can make a tutorial on it when I have time.

Hello there,

If you would do that, then I'd be eternally grateful. Your tutorial has been very helpful already and I applaud you for making it.

There's no rush on it though, take your time with it. I am sure you'll come up with something that has the same amount of quality as the tutorials featured in this post.

Thanks in advance and kind regards,
DJScias

That one actually made me smirk a lot, torturing characters to give them model updates sounds like a thing Blizzard would do.

But once again, love the animations that Blizz did in that video.

Kind regards,

Here you go, tell me if it works.

Edit: This the Creature Dispaly Info dbc which has all the blp's addreses changed to WOD ones. A few had the same files and others had the same file but with a different name.

Good job man, I just had to remove the _HD at the end because I removed it from the texture files.

There are some models that are missing their textures like they aren't even looking for it.

How ever the rest so far seem to be working fine I've only tested the orcs and humans atm.

this beard is questionable lol I think it might be the wrong texture but doubt it.

Any way man thanks for doing this, sadly my excel wasn't wanting to start up...

P.S

The Stormwind guard don't seem to be loading the correct skin textures :(

I will try to figure them out once i've converted the skins and applied them to my game. I'm still converting skins to the appropriate format right now.  For some reason PS is shutting down.

I may have made a mistake in any part of the process as it was lengthy one. I can give you the excels and you can redo my work if you want. Maybe i missed something.

Great job guys, i'll give it a test run tonight if I can.

An issue is still troubling me; where are those Dwarf female earring textures? I can't find any hint of them.

Guys, did somneone managed to get the hairstyles working? Maybe copying them form elsewhere?
If i set the NPC to use the new models most of them go bald and thats not what i wanted :(

and is there a way to customize Night elf eye glow color due to Face/Hairstyle combination?

You can't have all geoset working.
You can got all hairscut, ok, but you have to remove other stuff, like capes, kind of pants, robes, tabard etc.. etC..

Hmmm, i would gladly trade all capes for having all hairstyles. I don;t even get the point of having capes... Anyway i would be interested on how to do that.

Would you be able to use the wrist geoset to get all the hairstyles? Most of the time you can't even see them with gear equipped, and they're not very spectacular anyway.

Actually, it's not really about geosets, it's about faces number of a geoset

Wrist are something likes 400 or 500 faces i think, haircuts are like 2000-3000,

You have to remove X-65535 faces.

X is the total number of faces in the model.

Here is the list :

(Mort-vivant, Mort-vivant : Undead Male, Undead Female
Nain, Naine : Dwarf male, Dwarf female)

As you can see, sometimes you don't have to do something (only gnomes male and female tauren)
Human male is easy.
Undead male is hard as fuck.
