Level Design / Random crashes on edited ADT

Hey guys. I complained a few weeks ago at how I can't get the ground effect adder / fixer working.


The good news is that I did get it to work. However, now whenever I'm travelling on the ADT, I have a high chance of randomly crashing. Turning the ground effects density and radius seems to help some, but the crashing still occurs. What causes this, and can I fix it?

Is there anywhere I can find a download of rev 120? I can't open the adt with Taliis with SDL.

Level Design / Adding ground effects?

I added some nice, green grass to my settlement- the stuff from Arathi. I picked it specifically because of how nice it's ground effects look. When I tried to set it as my ground layer, WoW crashed. I used the rocky dark green grass from Tirisfal as a base, and then used the Arathi grass. It worked, but now I have no doodads and it looks goofy. I tried using the ground effect fix, but it's depreciated. Will FuTA fix this? Or is there some other way to do it?

I want to change the way the sky looks on an ADT. Where it looks like Tirisfal now, is it possible to make it look like Elwynn?

Noggit / New edits, new crash.

Hey guys. I've had this area of Tirisfal I turned into a Scarlet area for questing.

Everything was pretty good- no crashes.

Then I decided to make the area a little "lighter", using the grass texture from arathi. I also used the crop texture from westfall and the golden wheat from there also.

When I exported them to the patch and tried to enter the area in-game, my WoW crashed. Outside of the area, no crashes.

I decided to see if one of my trees I added in from elwynn by adding a tree where my other character was parked- no crash. Maybe the grass? No crash. It's relegated to that particular ADT. Could you guys help me?

A small project I've been working on. I'd like to eventually get it into be a RP-PvP server based around Lordaeron on the ongoing war between the Scarlet Crusade and the undead. A lot of work to do. Planning to give players NPC versions of popular spells to keep damage conservative and to scale with level. Any feedback on the zone is welcome, be it negative or positive.

Hey Modcraft. I'm pretty new to this whole thing.

I know there's an alpha client of WoW floating around the internet somewhere. I know you can't do anything but walk around a half finished world, but I got to thinking- could the player models from the alpha version of wow be imported into a 3.3.5 trinity core server? Has anyone done this before?

Level Design / Screwed up the ocean.

I was doing some texturing, and it seems like some way or another I fucked up the ocean. I found mentions of "allocean" and "fixallocean" in a sarch, but no downloads. Is there any easy way to fix this?

Level Design / Question: problem with furnishing inn.

Hey guys. I'm working on making a small questing area in Tirisfal where you play as a recruit Scarlet Crusader.

I made a camp area in noggit, and everything looked as it did in noggit  as in-game.

I decided it was time to furnish the inn I made- this is where the problems started. I put a few basic items inside, but much to my dismay when I entered the game they weren't there. I could tell they were there as I could stand on the table I made, but I couldn't see them. When I turned my camera a certain way I could. I thought it might be that particular inn, so I spawned a different model but I had the same problem.
