[bug] WOD models

I got some of the models to work and converted. but some when i try in-game they appear invisible and i cannot move at all?
Edit: its the same with some mop models.

You're problem is due to your model not having it's particles set to WotLK standards.

You can either set them to 0 or go to them and set the correct texture and flag numbers.

is that in the m2 or skin files? could i have a little tut or soemthing

This is most likely due to m2 version number being incorrect - open 010 and apply the m2template, I think it's the first section where version number is, I think wotlk is version number 264 but I may be wrong, try setting it to this and it should work. If not make sure 264 is correct for wotlk.

Nvm managed to fix a few using Durotan as a base template.

When I try to apply m2 template it throws errors for me. And using only catatowotlk makes my model a square with blue/white squares. (trying to port wod model to wotlk)

There should be some guide here truth be told. Every topic has only answers like "duh you have to look for a particle and change them to wotlk, what can't you understand ?" And I'm like WTF ? Should I use a notepad for this or what ?

Everyone that knows how to convert M2/Skin files by hand learned from this Tutorial from the year 2011:

The tutorial itself is lacking a lot of things actually, however with enough patience and trials(and a whole lot of angry fist shaking at stoneharry lol), you should get it working.  Also It's for Cataclysm, so I would recommend you starting off porting Cataclysm models, then move onto MoP, then try your hand at WoD when you feel up to scratch.

And I'm referring to DOING IT BY HAND, not falling dependent on someone's program.

As for Everyone else that has converted m2/skin files,..... has probably used a tool of some sort to do it for them, then hitting a wall and not knowing where to go, then getting mad at everyone that knows how to do something but won't make a tool or elaborate how to do it.
