I search some people to fill Maruum with life.

You should be able to create and perhaps also technical add good quests and quest series to a Trinity Server. Also scripting and DBC skills are wellcome.

Just create a good idea for a quest series and send me your concept with a PM.

I search english and german speeking people and best if you can german and english to translate stuff from one patch to the other.

No that's the main concept of Maruum. We don't need a big main lore at the beginning. I have around 6 background story lines in head. I play now for 21 Years table RPGs. Also as master and I never have much stuff written down to play. The most came spontaneous. So I am very fast in founding such stuff. But I find it nicer to create such a world not alone. So you have more then my point of view or taste in it.

In the starting zone there will only be one region overarching faction that will later in additional patches show off. The rest will be only in the start region i think. But perhaps this will change if some other guys have nice Idea that must be build in :)

The concept of Maruum is founded to give the possibility to start small and with less story and expand the world then piece by piece. Because of this I have the scenario that the most people of the world have forgotten many stuff as the consequence of an sabotaged magical ritual.

In the start zone all players stat as shipwrecked men at the coast of Meberian. So we can build in all races. Later if the project rices we can add starting zones for the different races and cultures.

I took this kind of concept because ALL projects I have seen in the past don't get finished. Because planing a big world, even big regions took much time, if you have to create all the stuff from zero. And because the building work took much time the database or scripting guys leave because I took to long :)

Also it give the community the chance to took a part of the world and develop a own region with own idea, factions, story and quests without problems. So I hope some people start to work on an expansion for Maruum instead of another own server project that possible fail to finish. So its like an community server everyone can give his creativity to.

In the moment I search guys to create some  background stuff, but more good quest lines for the starting zone region. I don't want stuff like kill this and collect that 50 times. It should have more background story like in the elder scroll series.

Also the NPCs should have more to tell to the players then in WoW, where you just hunt from quest to quest.

What should be said is that the world of the Maruum project have nothing to do with the WoW lore. We will start from zero and have no limitations for story.

The first isle is ready to start and its a good feeling to see my lore on a rp Server.

You could use the idea I had for my server time-lost project. For staff-related purposes the project failed but many people said that they joined me because they liked the idea. Its too long to write it here and I dont have time but felt like informing you :P

There are no faction on start. Maruum IS NO wow server :)
 I will try to implement verios factions and player can select the fitting self.
