another green model
« on: July 19, 2011, 07:16:32 pm »
O.k. so I know this problem has been asked before in many different ways... but I couldn't find the answer to what I'm looking for.

so this is my problem, I have an armor model and I have given it a new display id.
in itemdisplayinfo.dbc I have set the right / left model for the shoulder the textures for right / left model and the icon. but when I go in game it shows up green...
in photoshop I have set the mode to indexed color and removed all transparency.

so I am wondering if there is another place I should put the item textures with the dbcs or if this is just doomed to not work :(

ps I plan on releasing this armor once I have it working... just want to make sure it works first.

Texturecomponents only 256 indexed format (made for example in photoshop).
(256Indexed png to blp)
