Okay, I got it working now. Thanks deep6ixed.

When I added the one new spell, it got in the end of the DBC file. I thought I removed it earlier but I didn't, hence only one icon ingame.

I remade whole trees. I changed from existent talent IDs the spell IDs only and deleted unnecessary talents then. It worked fine but when I changed later just one spell ID in mage's tree, it fucked up everything in the mage's tree then : /

I'm working on a small server project. I have been creating custom talents for each tree obviously but I encountered a problem. I saw there was some bug in mage's arcane tree and fixed it in DBC file and remade the patch file. Now, this just fucked up the whole arcane tree. I only changed nonexistent spell ID to an existing ID. I've tried rewriting the tree but won't work. Although, the DBC file itself can't be corrupted because every other mage trees are working fine, and other classes' trees are working fine as well.

I personally have no clue what's wrong. The tool I use to edit DBC file is called MyDBCeditor v. 1.2.2 by smartwork and for creating patches I use MyWarcraftStudio.

Noggit / Noggit3 SDL 1.1 crashing on several ADTs

Heya all!

Whenever I build an existing ADT, save it, and close software successfully, I run into a weird situation. The ADT I have edited causes a crash. I have only edited the ground (not added any WMOs nor m2s). I'm pretty new to this stuff as well. This seems to happen only if I have edited the ADT. Once I fixed this problem by closing BROWSER down. Dafuq.

I wish there would be an ability to share your model editing skills hehe. No srsly, I have been working on a RPish server aswell but unfortunaley I lack of model edit skill. Once again this is pure awesomeness! :)

I got a question, related to this subject.
I have copy pasted from other ADT to my ADT waterfalls, I rotated them a bit but they disappear if I check from diff. direction. Pics:

Direction 2

As you can see clearly the waterfall 'disappears' when viewed from different direction.
This does not happen with any other doodad/wmo.

Hey there.

I am asking now how to make proper looking water. I have tried with Taliis AllWater tool; water appears in NoggIt but not ingame (Yes I know I must make MPQ, I am not that dumb!). I need water tool to create a little river :]. And If somebody wants to know my ADT file, it's Kalimdor_38_21.adt

EDIT: I have used brush size 1000 and flat to remove it but the black area still appeared ingame.

EDIT2: I got fixed the dark side, and no trees or other doodads have disappeared, have to try with own doodads yet

Level Design / [QUESTION] [NoggIt and Cryect Tools] Terrain acts wierd?

Hello there.

I have recently been starting to model edit. I know how to make mountains, edit terrain and stuff but I have never known how to add WMOs/Doodads to your area untill now. I have got NoggIt3.
I go to NoggIt and look for good place to edit terrain. I save the ADT, take it to fileinfo.exe and add one single WMO or doodad. Then I save the textfile and add it to loadinfo.exe. After that I drag the file back to World/Maps/ folder. I open up NoggIt3 and the ADT's terrain, where I added the WMO or doodad, has changed to darker.

I am able to remove the dark part from NoggIt by saving ADT and restarting NoggIt3, but I can't remove it from ingame.

And then I made a MPQ file and insert ADT inside. Results ingame are the terrain has got darker, just like NoggIt shows, and loads of trees/doodads has disappeared.

Any ideas how could I fix the darker terrain thing and make WMOs / doodads spawn correctly?

If you have a good lore, then this could be the best realm I've ever seen.

I've always wanted to make a server like this, and I am making one atm, but my skills in model edit is zero : /
