Improving Vanilla Graphic?
« on: November 06, 2017, 05:44:45 pm »
Hello, I love Vanilla, but the graphic is very old and bad. I'm looking for all possible ways to improve the enviroment, spell effects, npcs, mobs, water etc. I google it for 2 days and that's what I found. Please tell me if I miss something or there is something better than this.

Vanilla client with WoD character models:

Some model improvement mod (it does not change the whole game. Only few zoneso or mobs):

Then have a look at my version of the mod. I have included Kowards mod.  ;)

Can I do or use something more for even better overall visual experience?

Those are what client can handle since they added more things in later versions. For example shaders on models which vanilla cant handle. I tried to update as much as possible. Also now after 7.3 patch, a new "security" system was added and now things are more complicated in order to downport any new model.

I already got balsh models as patch-3.mpq. I saw that your files got the same name and in the description you say: Balsh character models mod [STAND ALONE version not compatible with mine anymore!].

So I have to choose between WoD character models and yours mobs and npc models and I cant use both?

Is there any way to use your models and character models at same time?

The stand-alone version that I have named is the one you got now. That will not work with patch 1.2. So, in case that you want also the creature models, you will need to download the version that I have modified to work along with my main patch. Balsh mod is only to update the character models and keep old world creatures/spells/objects as it is.
