There was a version for Linux.[paragraph:1knc5spy]i have built my own "infrastructure" for recording/encoding/screenshots/uploading out of bash scripts. it seems like the [wimg] tags work best. they resize while still being able to click
u can use the [media] tags for nearly every kind of video/audio even youtube, vimeo or soundcloud meanwhile: i updated https://github.com/hanfer/Blizzard-Updater to have compression on files plus enhanced the progress bar also: ffmpeg's gif recording sucks Quote from: "Luzifix" -snip-how do u display the models? is that on severside? 35

i started working on m2s:
static rendering is done; thanks to schlumpf i finally understood how animations are working, so they are next up. frustum culling: [media:1ofzeuzc]http://hanfer.org/public/video.ogv[/media:1ofzeuzc] gives quite a performance boost PS: hail schlumpf for video plugin 36

If not, here you go: [paragraph:1vqrmpse]The idea is basically to post screens/info/code samples/whatever about the thing you currently work on. It does not matter if its finished or not, if its code or your most recent custom map. just post about it, have a chat or help each other out.[/paragraph:1vqrmpse] Why should we do this?[paragraph:1vqrmpse]Most people here complain that the shoutbox is gone, which i totally understand since it was always a central place for the community to talk about their current activities. What i do not understand is why it one should not be able to talk about such stuff in a thread, especially when it seems to work pretty well in other forums (for ex. on Facepunch, to name only one). So lets get this going [/paragraph:1vqrmpse] Gifs[paragraph:1vqrmpse]only use them for tiny things! if its big: create a video, upload it to dropbox/youtube/vimeo/whatever and put the link into [media] tags[/paragraph:1vqrmpse] tl;drPost stuff u are working on, now! 37
Noggit / Re: [Fixed/Solved] Noggit.exe Launch Bug.« on: January 03, 2014, 11:52:47 pm »
i have no idea why some people think copying over different noggit installs is a good idea...
some also just swap the exe.... (btw: its not in anycase! create new, clean folders!) 38

(except someone else volunteers to do that) 40
Noggit / Re: [QUESTION] Noggit won't save anymore :/« on: November 27, 2013, 05:27:57 am »
first off: having spaces in file/dir names is a bad idea in generall.
also check if the file is really not there, this error sometimes triggers too fast. 41
Noggit / Re: [QUESTION] Noggits make deep holes at saving« on: November 25, 2013, 02:12:12 pm »
not sure if good old "u click into nowhere, holes appear bug" or new saving bug.

Even when I was using pre-SDL versions of noggit my textures always went right where I put them in noggit. It is rather frustrating because I have had to entirely stop working on my map right now unless I wanna texture then adjust the object north of the texture.... /* it has been there since the beginning of time (this is when wowmapviewer was made). u may just didnt notice (its a shift of 64x1 pixel, really hard to notice except from special cases). i actually have a idea where it does origin from, but im not sure about how to do right. it seems like (TM) i got it right in noggit qt for nothrend (big) alphamaps but its really hard to tell if its really fixed and if the same thing works on non big alpha adts. */ screw what i wrote above. i missunderstud your issue. i thought it your were talking about a shift within mapchunks but by looking at your screens this could also be another issue. pls pm me with skype/whatever contact data. |
