No problem That indexed rule applies to any in-game skins for characters, or character armour, and probably for a few other things.

Make sure the colour mode is indexed and not RGB

I think all the animation dbcs were added because of the Monks, as they have a different animation for near enough anything.

Hi
Plz help! How to import Cata WMO on 3.3.5a f.e. Stormwind city. You should just be able to copy the files over, remove any doodads that are m2s and you should be set. If you want something like Stormwind, with all the m2 files, you'd have to convert them all over.

If that still doesn't work, make sure you are using a patched wow.exe that allows for custom patches, if you don't you can find one in http://bit.ly/dxcatastuff and then delete the cache IN your Data folder.

Are you using a patched wow.exe? Otherwise it won't work either way

On player skins the texture needs to be in an indexed format and not RGB, this can be achieved in photoshop by opening your image and going to Image -> Mode -> Indexed Colour... -> Possibly changing any settings and then hitting 'Okay', this should fix the problem, also make sure the texture is in a square, I usually use 1024x1024 for mine but 256x256 or 512x512 work too, I would advise against going above 1024x1024, it works but it often means a huge file size for the image. I would say even 1024x1024 is too big.

The wmo format hasn't really changed, we managed to get some of the gilnean, goblin and wildhammer buildings with no problems

Sure, I mean me and Arid had been working on exporting Cata models from various builds and versions for a few weeks but essentially it was me that actually ported over goblins correctly, as well as the worgen male. The female is also possible to do although she has bugs and is slightly trickier.

I converted the 4.0.6 goblins and male worgen with not many issues, they have all of their animations and 90% of their hairstyles. Its possible, just tricky.
