I always feel bad, when I'm coming up with noobish questions, that seem to be so easy solveable. Well, I downloaded Taliis (a few times) and I can't get it to work. When I open the program, the menu contains File | Help, but nothing more. So, usually when we use Taliis, we would want to click on File and then New, but this suboption isn't there anymore. Also, when I click on "star_for_windows_dummies" application, it would tell me, that it can't access the jarfile "Taliis.jar", so what causes that? Outdatet java version? Nah, I updated it recently. Missing file? Doesn't seem so. Malfunctioning Taliis version? Idk. I have had the problem once, by the way, and I simply solved it by downloading a different version of Taliis, but can not find the version anymore. I need Taliis to delete the mistakenly copied versions of wmos and m2s by noggit, since manually deleting them is exhausting and causes lots of shutdowns.
Using Taliis from the WoWModding Zip pack, and different version from the web. (I noticed, that the download links on the taliis webpage are broken).

So, I recently did some really great work on noggit (and I don't exaggerate), but I have got a big problem. I tried puting it into a MPQ file, with two programs. First I tried it with MPQ Editor by Ladik, but no matter what I did, the custom area wouldn't show up ingame. I even looked up the tutorial in the sticky threads, but that wouldn't help at all. So I decided to try it with MyWarcraftStudio instead. Long story short, didn't work aswell. So, I am asking you guys what I did wrong.
Versions used: MyWarcraftStudio 0.10.6337 MPQ Editor 1.1
(I put some Screens down here). [attachment=2:tiae8wvs]firstscreen.PNG[/attachment:tiae8wvs] [attachment=1:tiae8wvs]secondscreen.PNG[/attachment:tiae8wvs] [attachment=0:tiae8wvs]thirdscreen.PNG[/attachment:tiae8wvs]

Since I installed Win 8.1 and a german World of Warcraft Client (don't know if it has anything to do with it), Nogg-it drops the fps to 5 or 10, so it is nearly impossible to work with it. Everything worked perfectly fine before, so it hasn't anything to do with my graphics, since i already updated the driver, or cpu. Any solutions?
Edit: Before I forget, I have also edited the config file and set the farZ to 500 and lower (I don't know if that works though).

I don't know if somebody has already come up with this problem that recently happens to me all the time when I use noggit. So while I delete m2 models noggit suddenly crashes. I don't know why that error occours all the time, but I found out, that noggit has copied all of them m2s instead of deleting them. And with that a new error occoured, which the log told me is called "Segment violation". So here is my log: [paragraph:axhdygks] 3 - (Noggit.cpp:443): Noggit Studio - SDL 1.3 4 - (Noggit.cpp:250): Using config file. 4 - (Noggit.cpp:452): Game path: C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of Warcraft 4 - (Noggit.cpp:456): Project path: C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of Warcraft 5 - (Noggit.cpp:295): Locale: enUS 49 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/common.MPQ 79 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/common-2.MPQ 87 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/expansion.MPQ 99 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/lichking.MPQ 122 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/patch.MPQ 129 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/patch-2.MPQ 131 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/patch-3.MPQ 139 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/enUS/locale-enUS.MPQ 139 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/enUS/expansion-locale-enUS.MPQ 140 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/enUS/lichking-locale-enUS.MPQ 143 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/enUS/patch-enUS.MPQ 144 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/enUS/patch-enUS-2.MPQ 145 - (MPQ.cpp:47): [Debug] Opened archive C:UsersKevinDesktopWorld of WarcraftData/enUS/patch-enUS-3.MPQ 2797 - (MPQ.cpp:89): [Debug] Completed listfile loading. 2800 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientAreaTable.dbc" 2801 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientMap.dbc" 2801 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLoadingScreens.dbc" 2802 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLight.dbc" 2802 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLightParams.dbc" 2802 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLightSkybox.dbc" 2816 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLightIntBand.dbc" 2823 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLightFloatBand.dbc" 2823 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientGroundEffectDoodad.dbc" 2831 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientGroundEffectTexture.dbc" 2832 - (DBCFile.cpp:22): [Debug] Opening DBC "DBFilesClientLiquidType.dbc" 3430 - (Video.cpp:210): [Debug] GL: Version: 4.3.0 3430 - (Video.cpp:211): [Debug] GL: Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation 3430 - (Video.cpp:212): [Debug] GL: Renderer: GeForce GT 740M/PCIe/SSE2 3449 - (Noggit.cpp:476): [Debug] Creating Menu 3486 - (World.cpp:157): World 451: development has no WDT file! I've got a 132 Error, when I go to a specific zone ingame. And it's not because of the wmo's. I added them afterwards. The instruction at "0x007B31F8" referenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "read".

Hello guys, since I deleted world of warcraft and re installed it, there is a problem with noggit. It crashes all the time, when I want to start it, but I didn't changed anything, not the name of the folder, or something else. Config: #This is a config file template. To use it rename into noggit.conf and set your options #Edit this to your WoWFile!!! #Path = D:WoW 3.3.5 #Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it! #ProjectPath = #Set this to the file where you will import models from (the model viewer log for example ) #ImportFile = #The far clipping value. Set to 2048, 3072, 4096 etc. for a further look. Higher values need more 3d power. #1024 is the standard value and will be taken if you do not set this value. FarZ=2048 Maybe it's my fault, but I can't see any mistake, 'cause I also read the manual!

Hello guys. I've always been thinking of making a new battleground. But my noggit skills are really bad, so I'm asking you now, to help me out! I want to open a new map, without texture or something. Is that possible? And how does the MPQ maker handle a new map?
Thx for your help! Danke für eure Hilfe!

Hello, as you can see I'm from Austria, so my english is not that good, as it has to be Back to noggit. I've got some problems with the newest noggit version 3.279 I spawned a tower with noggit rev120. After that, I used 3.279 to save it. Took MyWarcraftStudio to make a MPQ file. Then I had got a mpq file in my data folder. I started the game, but just the m2s were saved. There was no tower, there was nothing but the m2s! I do saved it with taliis, but even after that, there was no wmo I have imported. So, could you please help me?
