Alpha-mapping problem with textures
« on: April 15, 2016, 03:23:11 pm »
Gonna be brief:

- I took a pattern for alpha-maps. I went to noggit and deleted the textures and placed a dirt texture and grass texture.
- Went to FuTa, opened that ADT and injected the pattern on the first layer. (Note, I had Layer - 1 (Grass), Layer 2 (empty), Layer 3 (Empty))
- Went back to Noggit, the patterns worked! But, when I saw the textures, there were dirt - grass - dirt - dirt.

Why do two extra dirt textures appear in the vacant slots?

Please, can someone help?

You should not have empty layers. Try to start with all 4 layers predefined and thne just swap the textures if you want to change them.

I can not tell you why your empty slots get filled with dirt.
But I never have empty layers so I would not run into this problem.
