[RELEASE] TBC backports
« on: May 20, 2015, 03:25:15 pm »
Since it's so easy to port stuff over to TBC I was able to port over some vanilla and unreleased stuff.

I have seen how people have requested old evocation on other forums, so I decided to port it.
In TBC blizzard changed the model of the mage spell "evocation". This patch returns it to its vanilla model.

The big undead shoulder patch from my other topic is something I think many people want to use, so I ported to TBC as well.

The tool I used to backport everything above is called M2toTBC.
I can do requests if someone wants any spell ported over.

[Removed beta Draenei emote patch]
This patch brings back Draenei female flirt emote "You have heard of the Exodar? I will show you the Sexodar!" and the silly emote "Do Gnomes come with a vibrate setting".
When making this patch I realized that Blizz made a DBC fail when removing the beta flirt sound, resulting in removing 3 other flirt sounds as well, only for them to fix it in wotlk. This patch fixes that issue as well.

[Removed troll joke patch]
This patch enables the removed troll silly emote "I kill two dwarves" . Not sure what patch they removed this on but all I had to do to enable it was just add the sound file back. Originally made this patch for vanilla, but works just fine for TBC  as well.
To hear it, just spam /silly until you hear the emote.

All of the following patches have been tested by me and should most likely have no bugs.
Do note that WoWME is required to run all of the patches.

I'm sure TBC people will appreciate this !

Be careful for one thing, tho : I think some animations were added to character during TBC (Mutilate, for example) and if you replace UndeadMale.m2 with an old one there will be no animation and you'll have the Noggenfogger bug (a straigth, not animated, stance instead of the mutilate animation).
You should instead find what changes the scale of the shoulder items, and do that change on the 2.4.3 UndeadMale.m2. If you don't want to tinker with models directly, use Glitchy's Model Editing Suite, it's an easy-to-use software and there is a 2.x version.

Played around a bit with Gliitchy and 010 editor, but was unable to find out how to scale a bone.
Multilate is not that bad atm, character will just perform unarmed attack animation when casting. It's better than standing still.

Updated topic with deleted Draenei female emote sounds and the good ol' troll male silly emote.
