Really nice work I especially like the Argus' Light Citadel. If you can, I think ground doodads would make it even better, as well as a few bushes/small objects here and there.

Download Wow Model Viewer (the program), open it, choose a model to edit, and then file > export textures.

I won't make a video... However here's the idea : - Open the model you'd like to change, in Wow Model Viewer it'll be perfectly fine. - Extract the texture you want to edit in png. - Edit your texture in Gimp, Photoshop or whatever image editing program you like. - Convert the texture back to blp. You'll find converters in the tools section of the forum ( viewtopic.php?f=59&t=784 ), or with a Google search like "blp converter". - Create a new MPQ patch and put your texture inside. See this tutorial for more info : viewtopic.php?f=26&t=41

Your model turns out very nicely, grats The only thing I think looks a little weird is the thumbs, I don't know, their shape looks weird, in my opinion. But overall nice work really.

@Vel : Thank you ! I'll have a look at it. @Phucko1 : there's a tutorial here for mdl editing : viewtopic.php?f=20&t=32That's the one I used to convert my "base model".

Yes the files converted through the Adt Converter do work on Cata client. I don't feel very comfortable about helping people patching on live/ptr, sorry However, if you experience conversion problems, I'll do everything I can to help you and debug the program if necessary.

The files shouldn't need any edit after conversion to work on Cata client.
The name "patch-D" may be your problem, see how patches are named in Cata (wow-update-smthg).

Hi Ok, so no one seems actually close enough to come, which excludes the "meeting in Berlin for the day" option (however, if the situations changes, feel free to contact me). There are two evenings when I'm not free, the 20th and 21st. But I guess I could do something about it if there's something set up (which seems indeed unlikely). As I said, I can go South, but 600km*2 in a day trip is a little too far Organizing something mid-way would be great and I'd gladly go, but it's a little beyond my original idea (coffee/restaurant), and since I don't speak German & I'm living really far (Lyon, south of France), that would be kinda hard for me to do. Doing something in the north-east of France (at another date then) might actually be possible... Some relatives of mine live in France really close to the german border (about 20 km from Saarbrücken), so, actually why not... I'll think seriously about it. --- @Jack : your birthday and mine are really close, mine's January 19th

Hi everyone ! At the end of January (20th to 26th included), it looks like I'm going to Berlin. As many people on this forum seem to live in Germany, I was wondering if some of you would be interested in meeting / having a coffee / going to a restaurant or something like that. I'm aware Germany is a big country and none of you may actually live close to Berlin, but hey, you never know I should have a lot of free time during the week, so I can consider some train travel on a moderate distance to reach another city. So if you're interested just tell me

Mmh, to add water on your land it's the adt you have to modify, not the wdt.
You have several different versions of allwater, I suggest you used the "all water wotlk" one (adding mh2o). You'll find it in the tools section of the forum.

Mmh, then I guess I don't get what the problem is... Here's what I understand : In the latest model I sent, I get --> v : 784 lines vt : 935 lines vn : 781 lines Then if I get it right, it's ordered v/vt/vn in f lines. I don't find indexes higher than 784 for v, 935 for vt and 781 for vn. So what max number should I try to reach for vn ? Or is it because v & vn should have the exact same number of lines ? --- Edit : just in case, I tried this directly in the obj txt file --> - removed the last 3 vertices, so that there are 781 v & 781 vn. - removed all the faces referencing the 3 vertices I removed. There's a small hole on one side of the roof, but Blender seems to be still happy with the file, as well as Wings3D and Ayam and Milkshape3D. If it works that way for you I'll fix the hole later to have a nicer model. The file : http://mjollna.org/docs/house6_onemesh_781.obj

Mmmh, should be ok with this one, I think... Number of "vt" lines is 934, and ctrl+f in the whole file doesn't seem to have any "f" line with index > 935. http://www.mjollna.org/docs/house6_onemesh2.rarThe other models seem to have the same problem, so if it's ok with this one tell me and I'll correct the others with the same method (Blender -> remove duplicates -> re-export).
