Is there a way to undo something?

I sometimes make some mistakes and I didn't found a way to undo it, like CTRL Z

Then I need to restart Noggit without saving D:

Strange...
I was just putting 2 textures in the same chunk...

If I knew anything good about programation, I could help you, but...

I just know how to compile in C++ and how to create the project file in CMake LOL.
And a little about GIT, but I'm sure this will not help...

I want learn programation in the future, it's one of my "dreams job" haha...

So... Steff, what is the main program used for create Noggit?

And sorry for my bad english again.

Ok!
When we change the Radius, there could be a circle (or something like that) in the mouse to show wich area will be affected.

And let me ask some questions please...

I don' know the name of that, but each place on the world has a square (I think its chunk)
So... Why in some "Squares/Chunks" I can't use some textures?
The only way I solved this was using CTRL SHIFT left mouse, to clear all texture in the chunk, this is normal?

Sorry for my bad english.

I look at the log again. Noggit loads the most files from disk.
Why have you so many files extractet in the wow folder?

You should only have the following folders there:

Cache - Data - Errors - Logs - WDB -  WTF

And the interace folder but only with the subfolder AddOns in it.

If you have there older or moifyed files in noggit load them from there and not from the MPQs and you can get problems.

Because to Noggit works, i need extract the locale-enus.mpq...
I already posted a topic here, and that was the solution

Why do the conf not work?

Just place it in noggit folder
Set path
create a link to the noggit exe and add -c after the noggit.exe command in the link properties.

The next version will not need this switch any more by the way. If a settings file is there it will be used.

Here is my conf for example

#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
Path = F:WoWModdingClient335_Noggit

#Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
#ProjectPath =

OK, I did not know about the -c.
But this is not my problem ;s

C:Program Files (x86)World of Warcraft Beta

You can only use it with wow 355a.

I am using in WoW 3.3.5a.

World of Warcraft Beta, because i can't configure the .conf, and Noggit automatic choose a directory (Because I have 2 WoW) so, to work, I copied the folder to Program Files (x86) and renamed to this...
This is the only way to work...

But, is WoW 3.3.5a....

Sorry for my bad english.

Noggit / [BUG] Noggit 3 beta without sub-menus
« on: December 21, 2010, 03:18:16 pm »
Hello.

I downloaded the correct sdl.dll, so, in Noggit, appear a mini window, about Noggit, and in the menus (in the top) doesn't have sub-menus, here a screenshot:

http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/396/errp.png

I saw the log, and I see errors, like this:

(srcworld.cpp:48): World x: x has no WDT file!

Example:

(srcworld.cpp:48): World 0: Azeroth has no WDT file!

What can I do?

.mpq_libmpq.cpp:117 > Unable to find file fontsMORPHEUS.TTF!

Guess what? Download the attachment, extract it and put it in your noggit folder.

I already fix this, i forgot that i need extract the local-enus.mpq

Now... i edited the front of Stormwind, and saved.

Noggit created two files:

Azeroth_31_49.ADTS
Azeroth_30_50.ADTS

In the folder: WorldMapsAzeroth

Well, i try search these folders in the MPQ's.
The MPQ's that have these folder, is:

common-2.mpq (have the two files)
patch.mpq (have the two files)
patch-2.mpq (have only the Azeroth_31_49)

Which of these MPQ's I put the saved files?
I try put in all, but some objects and tilesets missed.
And the trees and other objects disappeared (All the trees of elwynn forest)
What i do wrong? ;x
