Noggit not working at all
« on: July 13, 2013, 06:26:27 am »
I am new to this website, even though I am a 3d modeler, I do not quite understand how to setup everything, I did follow the tutorial from the beginning, im at the tutorial #02 viewtopic.php?f=78&t=3381 I copy/pasted wow 3.35a to both client directories, I opened the model viewer .exe, everything works well, but when I open noggit.exe, it open for half a second then close, even if I run as admin, what am I doing wrong ?

if there any other better subforum for that type of question, lmk

And did you start up wow before it?

You dont haveto start wow before. Only IF you dont usea config!

1. Did you copy the tools/DriveLetter/YourDriveChar/ folderover to WoWModding?
2. Did you copy the content of the wow folder? Not the full folder. You need to have WoWModding/Client335aNoggit/Data direct.

Else post logfile and config file on pastbin and link it here please.

And you are at the perfectly right forum for noggit questions.

I didnt do config anything, yet, I tried to start wow once on both client, didnt worked either
1. I did
2. I did

for the log, I tried to open noggit once while wow 3.35a was still downloading to see if it would open at all, I got a error message and thats it, dont get fooled thinking it is the problem I am having right now, now no matter how many times I try to open noggit, the log file doesnt seem to update, maybe its just me

From

ProjectPath = D:WoWModdingProjectsTutorialProjectpatch

to

#ProjectPath = D:WoWModdingProjectsTutorialProjectpatch

All lines starting with # are comments and noggit simple ignore them.
