« on: October 06, 2012, 05:56:02 pm »
First sorry my english and sorry because im a noob with this topics. Well, the problem.

1- I have got the MoP m2 and skins in 3.3.5a version. I extracted the blps and animation
2- This is the CreatureModelData.dbc and CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc

3- This is the patch composition:

4- The result of comand .morph 35000

5- I think the error is in Blp, but i dont know
6- What is there to put in colums 6/7 in CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc?

Thanks to the community.

PD: Reading other posts i know that are missing textures, but im a noob, can you explain me step by step the solution to the problem?

The error is in your BLP, you have corrupted/wrong textures.

Column 6 is Opacity, so unless your morph is a ghost, it needs to be 255
Column 7 is Skin1, which might be the solution to your problem.

For further use, here is the documentation on CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc:

Unless these are unique, seperated textures, you should add these seperated textures into one entry.

Place the PandarenSerpent0 - 3 files into the respective lines 7 8 9.

Else, I suggest editing the .m2 and add the textures to hardcoded into the .m2.

... So basically, I looked at the .m2 with my hex editor and saw that it is calling two creature skins from the "CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc" on default.

Next, I checked the available texture files and immediately saw that none of the skins you provided actually existed or mattered. You tried to read the .skin files....
Try pandarenserpent_black for #6* and PandarenSerpentMountSaddle_black for #7...

And next time, actually inform yourself about what to include and what to look at. These are basics - nothing advanced at all. You'll find that doing this is making your life so much easier in the future.

EDIT: *Seeing as Tallis is using ID as #0, it's #6 and #7 respectively.

Then correct the filename or add the third filename.
