Noggit / Instant Closure - Win7
« on: February 24, 2013, 12:24:21 am »
I looked around but I didn't want to do any necroposting, I just got a new computer, but I'm unsure why my noggit is refusing to work. I have two versions of WoW, a 3.3.5a and a 4.1, but the Noggit should refer to my 3.3.5a, especially through the config below:

Code: [Select]
#This is a config file template. To use it rename into noggit.conf and set your options
#Edit this to your WoWFile!!!
#Path = C:Program FilesGamesWorld of Warcraft

#Edit this to your Project-Directory and uncomment if you want to use it!
#ProjectPath = C:UsersAcerDesktopWoWModdingClientFilesNOGGIT MAPSPROJECT 1

#Set this to the file where you will import models from (the model viewer log for example :) )
#ImportFile  = C:Program FilesGamesWorld of WarcraftWMV_Binary_v0701_r252_Win32_DevWorkuserSettingslog.txt

#The far clipping value. Set to 2048, 3072, 4096 etc. for a further look. Higher values need more 3d power.
#1024 is the standard value and will be taken if you do not set this value.
FarZ=2048

And here is my log:

What do you recommend using for mountains? Are their any .png's we can use?

I don't like Necroposting, but I've come across the issue, and when I went back into noggit and just slowly re-painted over the areas, the lines disappeared.

Please update Scootaloo to Developer, because I've promoted her to that.

« on: June 03, 2012, 07:27:15 am »
This doesn't work for me either.

I exported the .mdx for EyeOfSargeras by using WarCraft III Viewer and tried to drag the .mdx onto both the "lazy" and the OP's .mdx to m2. Neither work, I get "unexpected error" crashes.

If we don't use CMD Prompt, what do we use?

Compiling is better, because you know how everything works and you set it up to do what you wanted it to do.

Repacks are usually made by people who want to have their custom items and rigged stuff inside it, so you'll see weird stuff in the repack, and if something goes wrong you can't find the source of it and change it.

I'm pretty sure I followed this tutorial step by step, twice.

And my background is appearing red and zoomed wierdly, like this:
