Fixed the old humans and night elfs models loading in the caverns of time illusions. Now the new models will load when u have the human or night elf illusion in caverns of time. Download link is the same

I got it to work on a 4.3.4 realm. Only the player models are affected, NPCs didn't change (but it's cool anyway). There is a problem with hair. Some hairstyles don't show up. My female dwarf finally got a pretty face, but at cost of getting bald.

I checked other races ant this is what i noticed: Draenei and Undead models are not yet in this patch (I know, not done yet, I've seen the screenshots). Dwarves and Night Elves have problems with hairstyles - some of them dont show resulting with characters getting bald (looks weird). A human NPC had messed up textures on his hair. And female Dwarves' earrings turned green.

Good job anyway :)

I'm a tad curious, I was trying to replace a texture with the hd mag'har ones ( added the facelower aswell ) but it ended up giving me an error for some reason when retrieving character list, without the texture replacement it doesn't - is there something I have to do with the blp files in order to avoid said error or do I need to recompile the entire patch for it to work? ( I dragged it into the MPQ file to replace the required .blps )

You miss CharSections.dbc editing for new blps, as I understand.

I have related questions too.

Can anyone explain me why the CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc is there (in Konattchi's patch) ?

Cause his patch contains only Player models.

What is its function in this case? Which rows are changed?

Is CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc here only for CoT illusions?

Yes it's for CoT he changed a bunch of ID's there, like adding the new *racename*_NPC model to correctly match all the NPCs with old model and  some new models to PC characters

In my case i changed my DBC to get PC models like 100049 instead of 49 for HuM and all my NPC use old model and i do not use CoT too much, because i run a RP server, lol.

Nope, it seems the textures had been altered somewhat, I managed to solve it though!
