How do I know what kind of understanding of the structure file "data" is responsible runs. Exe file. With the release of new add-on structure of data files partially changed. Что приводит к тому что  новые data.файлы не открываются на более старом дополнении. А при импорта data.файлов со старых дополнений они открываются. Следовательно новое дополнение научено открывать файлы старых дополнений. Надеюсь я объяснил свою проблему довольно ясно.

1 - Да можно, но только теоретически
2 - По факту почти невозможно, в виду отсутствия исходников wow.exe (нужны исходники как wotlk wow.exe, так и cata wow.exe)

Проще просто конвертировать то что реально из каты в вотлк (модели, текстуры и.т.п)

If the MPQ would be the problem you could just extract everything inside the MPQ and pack it again with a new version of MPQEdit.
But the problem are not only the MPQs but the files in it. Different DBCs, M2 and ADT file structure etc.

So you have to rebuild your mod for cata.

On russian forums not there are tutorials. And modcraft only website with nice manuals. :D
I am interested in convert data model (Npc add item) to wotlk, but by changing the HEX values, and not through the 3DS convert.

I've never tried to convert cata> wotlk. With this I can not help you.
More logical make own models (in the case of items).

If you need races (Worgen  Goblins), or other creatures. you'll need to download cata alpha, and converts via 010 editor + m2 template

This model is not interesting for me. I want converted mount,  such as http://wowhead.com/npc=51195 andhttp://wowhead.com/npc=53273, and converted item arena season 9&10 and other beautiful item  :D
If create new texture,  it is a very long and i do not have enough knowledge of their own.
