3.3.5a HuM glitch
« on: October 10, 2015, 07:01:02 pm »
Hello everyone, i have found a glitch on 3.3.5a (only on Human Male models) where your right elbow "sinks" into the arm once you mount up, run with speed buff or stay still underwater. Its almost like someone chopped a piece off. I have been trying to solve this for like 4+ days now and still wasnt able to come to an solution. I came across this page randomly and since i see that you guys are Pro at what you do i have decided to seek some help here.

Screen of the glitch : http://imgur.com/LWq6w49
The left arm looks normal : http://imgur.com/0AUhQDe

I have tried to download various clients from ENGB to ENUS versions and the glitch is still there.

Is this something that can be fixed by downloading an proper uncorrupted client? if so, id be eternally grateful if someone provided an working DL link for such client.

Or is this something that exists in all the 3.3.5a clients out there and can be fixed by switching HuM model for lets say Cata, MoP model?  this is my first time trying to solve such issue, i am not experienced in this kind of stuff and i literally dont know what im doing.

Could someone make an strict guide about how to fix this? it would help me alot and your time would be much much appreciated.

Many thanks and have a good day.

I am certainly sure replacing the old huM models with the newer WoD+ ones would solve this. Looks like an anim fail of sorts, but we can not be entirely sure. Still, I assume replacing models would fix this.

Yeah i have tried the updated Wrath client with WoD model textures, but there are similar issues going on (Hairstyles not showing properly, missing emote sounds, etc.) also the WoD models suck in general (lol)

I also have tried to overwrite HuM models in my wotlk with Cata models using an MPQ editor and i managed to make my Wotlk Humans look  like  rats that have been stomped by a truck and ruined my client.

Well, at least i know it is possible to actually edit it.

Now the thing is that the animations and skins are descripted just like "HumanMale00skin." "HumanMale0065-00.anim" (often diifferently in various clients)and so on. So one cant tell what exactly needs to be replaced with what. I assume i have ruined the client by probably adding some animation that wasnt there during wotlk (heroic leap or something)

edit : Could someone please shortly explain how to do this properly?

Search function is a huge help here already. Those problems you name come from improperly set dbcs.

I did the patch for you as you asked me I hope it will fix your problem  :)
http://www56.zippyshare.com/v/gEjCTAxV/file.html
so Now backup your custom patches
remove them from the data folder
put this patch patch-C .mpq to the data folder  and see if it fixed your problem
and in audition I will give a tip (Don't edit the original wow files don't touch it DONT EVEN LOOK AT IT  :)

if you edit any of the original file patch .mpq patch-2.mpq patch-3.mpq ... replace them with new ones   try downloading wow 335 from torrent or such

Okay, this actually worked! HuM models are now all good, tho i had to delete the female files because they all had like green lizard skin lmao. Also /lol /cry /roar emote sounds now dont play on HuM.

Thank you so much for this and please do a upgrade with the emote sounds working if thats possible.

Have a good day.
