[SOLVED] Lighting on textures, ADT bug
« on: December 13, 2013, 09:20:36 pm »
The problem that I have is that the lighting/shadows or brightness on one ADT is way higher than all the others. Thanks to that the same textures become very different in one of the ADTs. I tried out the old trick of doing a 1000 sized brush but it didn't fix it.

I'm using Noggit SDL 1.2

I'm doomed unless I get help with this. I'll be eternaly grateful to whoever manages to solve this with me.

Here I changed the textures to be exactly the same in those chunks. As in, they both the same 4 textures applied the same way. Sure, it isn't as bright, just darker. But it's still a visible line there.

Here it is in Noggit, where the problem isn't even seen.

If you solved this then you should post the solution for others that see this thread and have the same issue.

Yeah it would be nice to know what you did to fix this.  It helps when people can search for a bug and fix it without having to start a new topic and wait for replies. Everyone wins.
