I followed everything you said, but I got some kind of error, i just get an error message after the "Importing M2I" or whatever part



When I tried it before I got the error message that i had too many bones attached or something, so i reduced all of them so i basically only had like, 4 bones or something, but I get this thing.

Translation on the windows box: "M2Mod.exe has bumped into an error and has to be terminated." or something like that. Help? D:

Well
For the contest I decided to submit the mall I built for a RP server which so far is kept a secret so I can't say anything about it, sorry :(
Anyway, the theme is Orc vs Human although both factions can run around anywhere. You enter through a portal in the Mage Tower and leave with the Zeppelin.
There is no lore cause this place is an OOC place. Anyway, enjoy! :D

I'm doing a starting zone where you can run around on about 1 ADT, the rest is just mountains. Idk if it will fit the competition very well though...? It's just a human vs orc themed mall, so :/

Just change the skybox when you're done, and try to use a softer road brush, imo it sticks out too much

So I tried it out, but I got a little problem... The pictures should explain it all, it gets the wrong file type.

yeah, i was too lazy to make the grass cause i found it too complicated so I gave up on that part xD

Maybe I should have textured all of the 15 adts with those textures and extracted the alphamaps, or..?
Btw, if I only intend on texturing the mountains and rocks in photoshop, can i skip covering the ADT with grass in noggit?

I didn't quite understand the Photoshop part

Did you take all of the ADTs and put them next to each other in Basic.PSD and create different layers for every texture and then move them over to SingleADT.PSD? Also, how would you go about texturing, are you using the Pencil tool or the Brush tool? If it's some sort of special brushes, I think everyone would appreciate uploading them or, if not, tell the name of the brush set :)

Looks like your BattlemasterList.DBC is too old. Did you ever extract that DBC and put it in the patch or in the DBFilesClient folder?

I wasn't able (and I'm not going to be) to do much until Saturday since we're having our German relatives over to visit us. I'll do as much as I can though.

Just  keep the edges crumbeled and put sometimes a hole in the middle. That makes it look more realistic , but dont overuse that style.

I'm going to try to do it more continious, although I'll do that and the dirt thingie once I've textured and put out the road all over the Island. Although, I did brush the road on softly so there is some dirt visible at some places, but I could do it more visible.
