[Question] Scaling models
« on: November 07, 2015, 02:09:10 am »
[Tearing my hair out] I've tried resizing models from classic/tbc/wotlk with every tool I can get my hands on with the same bad results. (FYI I've tried: Glitchy's 2.6, 2.7, M2Modder2)

Every tool seems to incorrectly scale animations; running always looks all stretchy and models tend to sink into the ground. The warping effect is more extreme the more I'm trying to scale the model. BTW I'm scaling these models down.

Is there any other way to scale models, like in a dbc file? I've tried the scale column in CreatureDisplayInfo but it doesn't seem to do anything.

EDIT: also the size of the model's shadow doesn't seem to change

EDIT 2: I learned blender and spent all weekend going through every tool in every configuration used from 2007-present for converting the m2i format to m2. I need to make a virtual machine image of this setup, what a house of cards...

Still can't resize anything, scaling a model in Blender doesn't do a thing

Here's a screenshot that captures how I feel right now:[attachment=0:3ogi354b]WoWScrnShot_110815_021822.png[/attachment:3ogi354b](he's all better now. same cannot be said about me)
