How to view MoP and WoD wmos?
« on: December 19, 2015, 12:27:08 am »
What tool do you use for watching MoP+ wmos? I downloaded the latest model viewer it crashes when opening wmos, and machinima studio doesn't load anything when connected to the current retail WoD ?

Well, I just took a look to verify that WMV exists for WoD, and it does, so the issue could be how you have it set up. Could you double-check your configuration file or post any sort of error messages or error logs given from either program?

There's a lot of things that could go wrong and without much information, it's hard to determine what's going on.

6.0 WMV is very unstable viewing MoP and WoD WMOs, sadly. Not much you can do about it.

WMV doesn't give any error log it says its 32 version when running though I use wow-64, does that make any difference?
Machinima shows this error log

Well so is any other WMV version when watching WMOs they all crash when its too big, machinima studio could handle it but this 1.0.8.317 shows me this when connected to retail

was working on my local 4.3.4 server

But people here obviously extracted those WMO's from somewhere, somehow to make those lichKing patches with MoP wmos and such, thats why I'm asking
