[DBC] [QUESTION] Installing new models tutorial
« on: June 16, 2015, 06:28:51 pm »
Hi
Could anyone please post a link to a tutorial on installing new models (meaning I already have the patch with the model installed) into a 4.3.4 Cata server databases and see them ingame?

Which models do you mean? A map object? A weapon? A creature?
You need to replace the server dbc with the dbc in your patch.
If you want a weapon or a creature with such a model, you would need to add it to the database and spawn it/equip it.
If you mean a model on a map, it should be there now. (not sure with this one, you probably have to insert the map dbcs and stuff like that too, if not done yet)

Im talking about a crature model. There's no dbc file in the archive, just the models, so I have to change the server dbc myself which is exactly the part I dont understand.
