Motor sound
« on: October 30, 2014, 03:00:48 pm »
Hi !

I have a little problem with a converted M2 from mop, in first it's a seagull.

I have filled my DBCs correctly, as usual but I have a problem about the sound, my seagull, when you're near it plays a sound of a motorbike, it can't come from CreatureDisplayInfo, the soundID is set on 0 and in CreatureModelData, I have copied the line of an other bird, I have no idea of where the sound can provide...

Can it be in the M2 directly ?

Thanks for you help :)

Bump !

This issue is already here, I've checked my dbc many many many times with no results, I don't know what to do with them. This problem is also on another creature, if it's not in DBC, where this sound can be managed ?

The sound is play when I'm near, I don't click on the seagull, it's lile I was near to a motorbike, it's annoying....

Edit : I upload the model

The problem is not in your model, which should be obvious.

The problem is now solved, it was just a hidden dbc field.

That is why I continually say people should upload the patch for whatever their problem is.  It's much easier to point out their problem that way.  It's not nearly as helpful to only upload the part you think is the problem when you're wrong about what the problem is.  It also avoids people (like schlumpf in this case) then coming in with irrelevant information to the person's problem.

Please tell people what the issue was and how it was fixed.
