Converts BLP to PNG and back with alpha information.
Use it with the CMD or just drag and drop the file you want convert on the exe.

Its right that you can find here no beginner guide but some tuts are already on.
Basically you extract files form MPQs or create new with taliis and noggit, pack them again in MPQs and put them with the next free patch name into your wow/data directory. To modify the interface you need a patched WoW.exe because this section in the MPQs is secured by Blizzard.

Some basic but important tips every builder should know:

After this guide look at the tutorial sub broads of every section and read the stuff that is already there. If you have further questions feel free to ask in the depending boards.

This has nothing to do with a tools tigu writes. his are pictures of our first project Elorions Cures.
We lay tis on ice because there are not enough dedicated guy out there until this time. If sometimes we think that the scene is ready for this we will continue.

Until then we  will work on Maruum to expand what can be done, experiment around and try to find the team we need to do such stuff. It could be possible that you will find many of the reagins on the Maruum server, if the builders agree to this.

For testing you can just use XAMPP. There you have a functional web-server including a mysql database and phpmyadmin running in one package. Take a look at the Arcemu page. In the wiki you find compilation and setup guides.

1. way. Hold looked adts in ram.
2. Way ask if noggit should save before unload the adt.
But first we have to get out the render error.

Best is you extract all wow files like i describe in the basic knowledge tutorial. If you have the disk-space.

Then you have every-time the right files by your hand if you need a dbc or search some texture.
Some DBCs are also overwritten by the patch files in the enUS folder so this is the only way to be sure you start with the right one.

You have to extract the folders with the models and the textures into the old wow folder.
The old noggit you have to use with a 2.x.x WoW client.
Then you can add the models to the adts. It will load the adt from the mpqs of the 2.x.x client and the models direct form disk inside the wow 2.x.x folder.

After you save the adt you can use it in an 3.x.x wow client. Only water need fixing.
But i hope the we will get soon a working 3.x.x noggit.

You can create a hole new world from scratch. As many maps(continents) you want.
And no you don´t have to connect the old maps by ship.

WoW is a server based game. The data of the world is divided in two parts. The hole graphic stuff you can find in the clients, but many information about what items you are a enemy have/drop. Where what enemy is to find and the quest stuff the client get from the server. So if you want also change this stuff you need a own server.

You can make changes in the client and look at them also on public servers. But that is no mod and if blizzard will recognize it you will get banned.
