Noggit / Re: [3.1021] [Wotlk] Crash on opening!

Nice to here.

65
Or just use the mpq editor feature create patch from folder....

66
Just extract it with mpq edit and place it in your patch.
MPQ basics...

67
The most patches out there with converted models just don´t contain all textures. You have to open the model in 010 edit and search the texture paths. Then extract them from the client, convert if needed and add them to the patch.

Also add a # before your project path to test if there are corrupted files in.

4 - (Noggit.cpp:502): Project path: D:\KEEFERSTUFF\NEWTAR\

Have you a static external internet address or a dynamic DNS configured?
Did you open the ports for your server in your local windows firewall or turn the fw off ? (don´t let it off all the time :) )
Did you port forward the server ports in your router to your local pc running the server?

Development discussion / Re: Duplicate feature behavior
« on: June 19, 2017, 01:50:26 pm »
Amaroth is right. Feature requests and bugs please into the bugtraker. I just cleaned it up and work trough the tickets.

And honestly (this is for Steff and other developers), I'd preffer to finally see new, stable-ish version of Noggit released after so long
Quote
time since 1.4 SDL, over waiting for next few dozens of months until that tool is completely perfect and contains all features which are being requested out there. You have done amazing job, but as long as there is no new public release, its here for kind of VIP club only.

We don´t add killer features in the moment. The goal is to finish a release version. But adsparten is working on the performance issues in the moment and I can not help much with this. So I decided to clean up the issues and just add easy to implement stuff to get tickets closed.

The case I don´t use the bitbucket feature discussion is that there not many people read and join the discussion.
Here we get some more feedback but fare away from what I want....

For me it is important to ask the community how certain features should behave.

Conclusion for this. Create copy on cursor position but don´t change ctrl + c/v clipboard.

DBC / DB2 / DB modding / Re: Changing int size of a column in a db2

No. You need to change the client code for this because dbc definitions are hard coded in it.

Did you change the external IP in the database to your external fix IP or dynamic DNS name?

Miscellaneous / Re: WMV not loading MPQ

Also just try to create an MPQ from a folder like i describe in the tutorial. Also name it .MPQ not .mpq. Was a problem in the past. Don´t know if still is.
