Recruitment / NewFound Recruitment
« on: February 20, 2015, 12:33:37 am »
Hi my server has suddenly gotten very big and I don't have the time to keep up with it. Need help! I've already started racking in donations and can offer payment to c++ and advanced sql scripters.

Please write me if you are interested. More information about the server in the link below. Some main notes: 3.3.5a Rp/PvP, loads of custom maps and content including cata-draenor.

I am a noob at c++ and am getting errors when putting in scripts I want such as hunger, transmog. And I have ideas for other scripts if it would be possible to create like mercenaries players can higher to walk around with them.

I am also recruiting GameMasters who will be responsible for hosting events, spawning creatures / adding vendors etc. and helping players.

Thank you

Thought i'd point out that the Mac Patched WoW client uploaded by iindigo reads this map fine. You can find it in my guide in the tutorials section.

Noggit / Re: [QUESTION] Erased Darnassus, crashes when I enter it
« on: February 15, 2015, 08:41:24 am »
hm, I seem to always eventually end up getting crashes when editing on Azeroth maps. Mulgore, durotar, eastern edge of wetlands. Now fixed but I had gotten crashes on all of them.
Yet when such edits exist like sir francs stromgarde and northeron, it must be possible to work around it.

Im going to stick with my custom map from now on

Looks really nice. I think some of the circular patches of stone on the mountains all look the same / too many.

Hai I want to release a beta of my server mainly for any of you guys and my friends. Does anyone have a moment to help me compile trinitycore on my new server host. I've only been using mac and haven't compiled on windows in years.

I'm having issues with boost and I don't know why, i've tried both versions, edited cmake file and edited the system preferences path...

Code: [Select]
CMake Error at cmake/macros/FindBoost.cmake:1115 (message):
Unable to find the requested Boost libraries.

Unable to find the Boost header files.  Please set BOOST_ROOT to the root
directory containing Boost or BOOST_INCLUDEDIR to the directory containing
  Boost's headers.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  cmake/macros/ConfigureBoost.cmake:28 (find_package)
  CMakeLists.txt:63 (include)

Could someone please add me on skype and help? Skype: Domminust

You could either talk me through it or feel free to login with remote desktop.

ty, hope its ok I post this here.

If you download the noggin I linked it should be fine. Unfortunately there's no model viewer or editor that I know of.. You can use some of stuffs tools like Tallis and there's some template maps. Other than that yes most of it doesn't work unless someone puts them through wine or somthing. Idk I am a noob programmer :)
Just ignore the model editor part. For models you have to click a wmo or m2 in Noggit then assist -> to text import file.. Or just copy and paste them. Always make sure to only save once when adding wmo's or else they won't save.
