I hope you consider open sourcing this. Too many amazing tools like this one have been abandoned and eventually lost to format changes.

6.0 WMV is very unstable viewing MoP and WoD WMOs, sadly. Not much you can do about it.

Just released a very basic OBJ exporter. WMOs work best, but even then there's a lot of alpha issues on textures. ADTs use Legion client. Definitely not a full fledged release yet, but slowly working towards that!

Awesome work man. I love the WMO to OBJ export, currently kind of working on tearing down the Legion Night Elf buildings into modular parts. As it's my first time doing so it will take some time, but oh well.

I was wondering if you could possibly add the option to export the selected ADT only, rather than the area surrounding it included.

Also nice to see there's still work being done to Neo.
That should have been fixed in 0.1.2. Let me know if you're still experiencing the issue.

OMG WTF !

*.ADT TO *.OBJ ?

ARE YOU MAD ? OR AM I HIGH GONA TRY IT IMIDIETLY !

I always wanted such program if its gona work for my ADTs that im interested in that would be nice gift for my Bday that i have today :D
That will only work with Legion data and even then only for a handful of maps that have been adapted for the new view distance tech in Legion. I'm using the very low quality 512x512 LoD textures on the ADTs because I haven't quite figured out proper ground texturing yet. ADTs might or might not be currently mirrored as well.

As I said, very basic and nowhere near full release yet.  :)

And about Swapped being a hosting... Why do you think that? WHY?  xDDD
1. You haven't given us any information about it, so we're only to assume things at this point.
2. The site says "the best game servers".

I'm sure you believe in the project, but you've been preaching it without giving any information on it whatsoever. Going off the information available in your trailers and website it seems to be promising server hosting for some games including WoW or something like that?

I think this has been asked before, but give us some actual details explaining your project instead of going "its coming! its going to be so awesome! here's some trailers with no original footage and some catchy titles!".

Confusing your potential userbase is not a great way to start a project.

Model preview in asset browser is pretty awesome. This could really be an all in one map viewer (+ editor) and model viewer.

You can compile the software with Visual Studio 2013 now.

Awesome, I tested it a moment ago and it runs really smooth so far! And that's on a 7 year old i7 920 and a 4 year old Radeon HD 6950.

Cool! Tell me how to run the program please?)

It's not ready for real release yet as Cromon and others have said but if you want a quick preview to how fast this project is progressing you can download Visual Studio 2013 for free (and legal!) here and grab the latest zip of the project here open the solution and press F5.

If you have issues following these instructions you should probably wait for a release. :D

Great job, guys. Can't wait for the new progress. I have a small tip. I think you should work a bit on map rendering or wmo rendering because not all the maps can be opened, and not all the wmos are rendered. ;)

I'm with Skarn on this, it almost functions as a pretty good map viewer already. After these issues are resolved it could already easily be forked and made into a read-only map viewer. Finally something to replace WoWMapView!

It is in the moment under heavy development and changes every day.
Also UI is still in planing phase. So dont stick to much on existing sutff ;)

This is still the best phase to let the community come up with ideas, though as they would be the ones using it.. ;)

Progress really is great so far! Small suggestion for the start UI to make testing easier, maybe only show maps that have WDTs? I'm seeing a bunch of the transports maps on the list and those won't ever work. That should weed out most of the maps that aren't loading right now. Not sure why some of the remaining maps won't load yet but I'm sure you guys can figure it out as you've come so far already!

This is completely awesome.

I look forward to using this and it's incredible that it's compatible with CASC :) We need more WOD modding tools
CASC is pretty well supported by several libs already, it's not that hard of a format.  :)
