Hellow, i have a really odd problem, any pointers will be apreciated.

I upgraded my old, still functional xp os, to windows 7 and mounted my server again on the new machine, everything works fine with it but my characters can't loot from gameobjects anymore, they kneel but no loot window pops up, and they get bugged in kneeling down position after they move away. I had only encountered this bug inside instances before, but not in the general world.

So far, i have changed mysql server from 5.0 to 5.1, i've tried to install a clean version of the mangos database, install another version of the database with another table set, and using the back up mangos database from the server. All of them had the same issue.
So i imagine that the database is not the problem here... but so far can't figure out what is causing this.

I have a very old YTDB_0.11.2_R541_MaNGOS_R9651_SD2_R1660_ACID_R304_RuDB_R37.4 and i have worked on it for at least 5 to 6 years and so far i haven't had issues with it.

Besides that all other tipes of looting are still functional, skinning, creature mining and herbgathering and looteable items.

So again thank's for your answers.

Random / [SOLVED] Recomended Free Antiviruses?
« on: January 10, 2017, 05:15:45 am »
Hi, I need some guidance.

Long story short, i had Avast 4.8 Profesional for 3-4 years now and worked without any problems, sudenly yesterday, the bloody thing just upgraded itself, without my consent and installed Avast free antivirus. Avast is not answering my complaints on the issue and I tried to reinstall my former antivirus from scratch and the next time booted my pc, the other bloody program had been reinstalled again!

So, does some of you know wich antivirus is, good, un-invasive and free (cause im done with paying for shit that will betrayme anyway)?

Thank you, and by the way happy new year 2017, may this year fuck us all less than 2016.

Thank's a lot for the patch, the new fawn model is really nice and the hyenas looked quite interesting.
I think these models will have a special place on my server.

Thank you again.

"Retro-Porting" / Re: [TUTORIAL:] a way to fix legion m2 anim
« on: April 14, 2016, 06:55:53 pm »
I was looking at this m2one template and i was wondering why would it need to rename the models name that the program opens to "By Alastor Strix'Efuartus" if it just opens a file?

The common M2template1 seems to be working just fine with this legion models anyway.

I wrote a script for modifying these values in ADT.
http://pastebin.com/HHic88vT
For using it you also need my ADT template for 010 Editor.
[attachment=0:msp4lx5s]WoWADT.zip[/attachment:msp4lx5s]
It is slightly different from the public one, but without it the script will not work.

This look usefull, thankyou skarn n_n /

*Throws hands up in the air confused*

I honestly have no idea, I have tried searching but this something very far out of my skill level. If anyone who has any experience of fixing this issue would like to assist in teach me, or do this for me it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

About this problem, it seems that noggit saves wrongly some values that has to do with what the player can see in that particular ADT inside the game, inverting those values,
so in the minimum puts the maximum values and viceversa.
That is what Shlumpf was pointing to, those values are stored in the MHDR chunk of the Adt, and you can edit  that to fix your ADT using the 010 editor, plus some ADT templates.

To fix them you can erase all data from them but so far i just invert the values to be in the safe side.

That particular error tends to happen on outlands maps and i also discovered it happened on the battleground maps that you are working on last week.

Hope this was of any help.
Monoaman.

you only are missing some roof textures there, noggit will show as a plain color textures in wmo's that  had weird  catclysm flags that are design to overlap a second textures that fades over the first one.
This are made to create the effect of overgrown grass over a building.
In game you should see the whole building without any problems

here is the roof file though.

hi Renan, this is the wmo files of undercity that i had. I hope this is what you where looking for.
Again this is only the undercity wmo and not the adt, so, though you'll have the building the terrain underneath might not mach the city's height. And there will be huge holes under it.

"Retro-Porting" / Re: [1.12.1] [QUESTION] NPC Greeting Sound files?
« on: October 12, 2015, 02:29:48 am »
Hi, I think those files are located in the Speech-enUs.mpq, inside the EnUs folder of the data folder in your client.
The directory should be:

 SoundCharacterGnome

there are some other folders with the female and male voice overs
for the  npc sounds you should go in the same MPQ, to the creature folder under Sound and fine the specific gnomes directories.

Hope this will help you n_n /.
